Do you believe there is a single, identical universal substance (/energy) that makes up everything?
I want to think that String Theory is right (that there are undetectable strings of energy that make up all matter), but I also want to think that it's much more complicated than just the material things that make up the Universe. Something not necessarily within a hidden dimension, but something more theoretical creates functionality.
Idk, what do you think about the building blocks of the Universe?

The end is nearing.
I was in my philosophy class again and today the professor asked who in the class was a Christian. Now keep in mind we're a good four weeks into the course and we've been under heavy bombardment from the atheist professor's rhetoric. As I slowly look behind at the rest of the class I am stunned to find only four other God-loving Christians raising their hand -- out of 35 people in the class!!! If the devil has managed to manipulate so many people so fast, I can't possibly imagine what's happening in the rest of the country.
I need you to do something, not for me, but for all of us. I need you to go out and talk to someone, anyone, about the gift of God's blessed being. We must do something before we all lose our faith in God.

There are many different situations in which people get drunk and they are in some way exploited by a non-drunk person. They may be a tattoo artist, a lawyer getting you to sign a contract, sex from an unattractive person, etc. Is it your fault for being drunk and being unable to control your actions, or is it the fault of the person exploiting you while being drunk? Or does it depend on the situation?
Any thoughts or opinions on this?

Say there's a church who's looking to expand. They look across the street and see another building that would work fine. As it turns out, the building is the place of worship of another religion. They aren't as wealthy and they're struggling financially.
What is the religiously moral thing to do in this situation: buy out the other church to help expand themselves (assuming it is a morally right thing to do to help spread their word of god as most religions believe); or is it more moral to give the other church financial support and help them spread a different word of god?
Pretend you are a religious person for this thread if you aren't and explain what you would do in this situation and why? Please base the morals off those in the OP (helping other people, and spreading the word of their god).

Have you guys heard about that app called Whisper? It's an anonymous place where people post pictures with captions (not memes you faggots) telling off their secrets. It's neat because it queues in on location so you can show whispers from only one mile away, five, fifteen, twenty five, fifty, et cetera. It's hilarious because sometimes you'll see pics about professors ranting about how they hate their class or sometimes someone will say they like a person and then they know someone has a crush on them. So I saw this one picture about someone laughing at this girl because she was wearing a pokemon shirt. And as it turned out, that was one of my closest friends who was wearing a pokemon shirt that day. So I replied to the pic telling the guy or girl to shut up or come fight me (inb4 lol white knight), they told me to kill myself, I called them a coward, and then they said they were going to hack into the system and find out who I was. Somehow they actually did, because they replied and asked if my name was Dustin. But I'm not a bitch so I told them that was my name and that they're welcome to give me a time and place if they wanted to fight me. So far they haven't replied, but this might actually be my first fight.
I don't actually plan on fighting because I'll be charged, arrested, and kicked out of college, but if I turn out to be bigger than the other person than I can restrain them if they try to do anything and have someone call the cops. In that scenario I only have to go to court but I don't get arrested or kicked out of college. And no I have not told my friend that someone was making fun of them and I'm now provoking a fight with them, I'm pretty sure they'd be upset with that.

Ever since I started college I've been pretty much forced to skip my workout Monday through Thursday because of the way my shitty schedule works out and how awful commuting through a busy city is (I pretty much devote 12 hours a day to school). Instead, I only have Friday through Sunday to workout but I haven't done it in two weeks and now I'm just starting to feel slower and fatter and that makes me want to exercise even less. But I'll be honest here, and feel free make fun of me because I probably don't like you anyway, it's because of Minecraft and the new update that I haven't done anything. I've been trying to think of ways of how to get out of it like maybe TNTing my house or TNTing someone else's house and getting banned. But it's not like I don't want to play at all, I just want to play a lot less.
So that's my story, please tell us your things you should be doing but aren't.

Do not send them anything you wouldn't want their friends or anyone else to see.
So it was the five hour period I had before my last class of the day and I was sitting in the student lounge with two of my friends. One of them was texting their boyfriend and somewhere down the road she was showing us the conversation (because he was clearly horny and it was pretty lolzy the things he was saying). So she handed her phone over to the other girl who began to text her boyfriend for her. It was his birthday and he was sexually frustrated about his virginity, lack of confidence when it came to kissing, and lack of nude pictures that he never received. And he must have felt lucky that day to ask for her nudes, despite not having a job or going to school or having a birthday party or having any friends over. So the other girl texting him maneuvered him into a place where he had to 'prove his confidence' to receive the nudes and that he had to send her a picture of his dick. Now while I wasn't actually interested in seeing it (especially because he was a close friend during high school and that was kind of awkward) I was still interested to see if he would actually do it. So a few minutes go by and he's still arguing with the other girl pretending to be his girl friend because he didn't want to do it, but peer pressure settled in and right before we received the picture through snap chat, a few more of our friends popped in to enjoy his fully erect, four and a half inch penis on the girl's phone. Many laughs were had, but above all a great lesson learned:
Do not send dick pics to your girlfriend unless you want her friends to see.

I've been thinking from what was said earlier, and it seems to me that he's going to have a very difficult and awkward conversation with potential employers about why he spams offensive messages to other people on Facebook. Of all the stupid things to do and say on the internet, do not do them when it's connected to your real life.

You should make an option for threads where the OP can make it so that any time a certain word of his choosing is typed (like DeeJ) it turns into something else. Is that possible? And if it is, we should do that. I mean at least for Anarchy.
