But now look at things: a user is now dying. And the people who defended the homeless one are now unleashing their wrath upon the dying one. Why do they do this? So I start by searching for it on the Internet but the only versions I can find are extremely low quality. The only alternative was to watch it from Microshit's service. And I just knew they were going to make things as difficult as possible. So I go there and I'm not surprised to see that they want me to download shitty Windows 8.1. I just say fuck it and go through with it hoping it doesn't fuck up my computer too bad. So I allow my computer to do that for two hours and when I finally come back it then tells me to download some stupid Halo Channel App. That becomes a pain in the ass because it doesn't let me sign in on the account I want, it forced me to create a new Xbox Live profile which is just a long and tedious process. And once I finally have everything downloaded, I click the link to bring me to the first Nightfall episode and, who would have thought, it doesn't work. And that was it. It doesn't even tell me why it won't play, it just says to go fuck yourself.

I checked to see if I could play some stupid Red vs Blue episode and that worked. But every single Nightfall episode that I tried to play would run for two seconds and then shut down.

*sigh*

This might not be possible but what if there was an ability for everyone to have their own personal pinned threads, threads you could pin yourself and it would only show up as pinned on your screen. I think that might be a good solution for people who want to keep threads up for themselves (would be really useful for the UN games especially).

I don't think I have ever talked to someone who legitimately thought rape was okay, so why these people are trying to say the whole of society doesn't care, or even endorses it, is just grasping at straws. Though feminism in general is just that: grasping at straws. I don't take the feminism class they offer here at UConn, but some of my friends do and they're literally taught how magazine covers that portray racy photos of women represents rape culture. You read that right: looking at photos of half-naked, consenting women is now considered rape by feminists, and it's all our fault because the women in the magazine covers are just victims of society's demands.

There are certainly some immoral things you can argue that society as a whole doesn't care too much about, but rape just isn't one of them.

If I look up this question on Wikipedia I get this giant list of terms most of which I'm not even vaguely familiar with (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schools_of_economic_thought).

So can anyone *cough cough* help answer a few of my questions on this list?

1. What exactly are the main economic schools within the US/UK? In other words, can you narrow down that list to something more relevant for us? It also might be helpful if you say how liberal or conservative the school is.

2. Do those schools contradict each other or do they explain different aspects of economics and society? And when they do contradict, is there any particular reason why (be that difference in morals or different logical deductions)?

I'll have more questions whence come more answers (did I use that word right or am I being an idiot?).

I generally dismiss arguments if I think the rationale is emotional. For example people don't like the NSA because they feel their privacy is violated. To me that's an emotional argument so I promptly dismiss it. But now I'm not so sure if that's the right way to go about it, because ethics and emotions seem to be closely intertwined. Would it be right to say that ethics are derived from one's emotions? And ethics are just ideals, virtues, that give life some kind of meaning and guidance.

If anyone wants to define ethics and state its relationship to emotions I'd definitely appreciate it.

Also Meta, I still have more questions on objective morality, but I'm not as smart as you are and my brain needs to take breaks more often. Just letting you know I've got some more questions.
