Serious / Consensual necrophilia« on: January 25, 2015, 12:30:13 PM »
I was over at Meta's Youth Debates forum (that name is really cringey I know) and these ultra progressives were talking about how necrophilia should be allowed if the person consents to it before they die.
The slippery slope is certainly no logical fallacy when it comes to issues like this is it? 133
The Flood / I can understand why people despise homosexuality« on: January 25, 2015, 11:54:07 AM »
I don't despise homosexuality myself, though admittedly I do find it a bit repulsive sometimes (like how they like to eat each other's poop). But some people just weren't instilled with the belief that homosexuals are better than normal people and deserve more rights and privileges than us. And of course you cannot expect someone to change their religious beliefs just because they offend you; religious people have every right to believe in the Bible.
Are you open minded enough to understand all the hate on homosexuals? 134
The Flood / Kids these days« on: January 25, 2015, 10:58:13 AM »
So I was at this school for sixth graders a couple days ago for this thing I was doing and at least a dozen of them were wearing this shitty ugly backpack.
Why the hell would kids be compelled to buy something that ugly? I swear to lowercase god (who isn't real) that kids are way too easy to sell stupid shit to. Another good example of that is Destiny, which was a pretty awful game. OT: Stupid shit you see kids buying nowadays and stupid shit you bought when you were young. 135
Serious / There is no such thing as a gay gene« on: January 24, 2015, 09:16:57 PM »
Right off the bat you should know it's just media headline bait simply because homosexuality makes it extremely difficult to pass on genes to children. But even then, we have a very small understanding of human neurology compared to what we need to know to understand these sorts of things that it's truly an irrelevant endeavor to search for a specific gene that only homosexuals have.
Why does the LGBT movement feel that there needs to be some sort of natural-ness to homosexuality in order to make it justifiable? It's simply ridiculous that homosexuality can't be an environmental factor in order to acceptable. There is no gay gene, and if you demand homosexuality is genetic, you are only separating yourself from science. 136

Serious / Are you a threat to the government?« on: January 23, 2015, 07:41:51 AM »
If this thread doesn't belong in Serious just lock it, don't bother moving it to the Spam board. Although both Icy and Mr P have argued in favor that this board is about personal identity and not about objective debating, so having a political conversation about ourselves certainly should be within their rules.
Moving forward: It's no surprise to anyone that the government has 'agents' on various forums around the Internet, mostly geared towards the radical crew of people. But say there's a government agent who watches this forum. Do you think they would put any of us on a watch list of some sort? We know that the government doesn't like communists and anarchists, but what about everything else that doesn't fall under the two main American political parties? I'm curious about my own stance on technocracy. The elimination of democracy, would you not think that would be a radical enough stance for the government to get involved? Certainly if there were larger numbers they'd take some notice. Or is it more about one's tendency to act violent? Though I don't think I've ever advocated a violent revolution, many of you may have at some point. For anyone else with a similar situation, do you think the government would put you on a watch list because of your (radical) political beliefs at any point since 2001? 146
Gaming / Let's list (and discuss) all the plot holes in Halo 3« on: January 22, 2015, 08:43:00 PM »
1. How the fuck did the Gravemind get to the Ark? The only way to get there was the portal on earth, and if he made it there he could have easily attacked earth. I mean he could have at least launched a couple spores before going through the portal.
2. How did the Covenant know where the portal on earth was? Yeah, I get that they were told what planet to go to, but how would they know that it was underneath Kenya and not fucking Canada? 3. Why the fuck would Cortana send a flood infected Covenant cruiser to earth just to send a message? She nearly made the species go to extinct, that fucking cunt. 147
The Flood / Let's be honest here« on: January 22, 2015, 07:42:15 PM »
The reason why mods tell you to PM them when you have a complaint is because they don't want other people to agree with the complaints.

Septagon / Restricting discussion in the Serious board isn't going to help the Flood.« on: January 22, 2015, 07:34:10 PM »
The Flood is spam because of the rules you've created that allowed it to be. Let's first have you accept responsibility for those actions of not penalizing liked users for breaking the rules.
Telling people that they now have to post their Serious topics in the spam board doesn't mean they're going to comply, they're literally just going to stop posting, not getting you anywhere. On top of that, your moderators have become increasingly criticism-phobic and cannot give reasons as to why they prohibit discussions, other than the "because I said so" mentality. Some changes are good, some suck. These changes suck. Please revert or you will lose more activity then you attempt to gain with these bad policies. 149
The Flood / If you share a depression story you're unethical« on: January 22, 2015, 07:06:03 PM »
Unless you're an idiot, it's pretty common ground that people are more likely to get depressed simply by being around other depressed people. So why the fuck are depressed people always trying to share their stories with other people? It's like they want other people to be depressed with them. Well yeah know, misery loves company, and honestly you're not a good person for making other people feel like shit.

The Flood / SecondClass apparently is desensitized to JTK now« on: January 22, 2015, 06:55:47 PM »
Obviously it was just a ploy to get Kiyo demoted (and congratulate him for being successful) but let's not make it a bannable offense anymore since it's no longer a triggering image.
