Akavir begins the recruitment of sailors. 20 to each ship.
This is an undertaking of 50,000 men. Recruitment is projected complete on page 9.
Rounding up and training 50,000 soldiers in four years is a bit ridiculous in this game. Remember that each province only started with roughly 2,000.
They won't be trained by that time and they're not soldiers.
Just common deckhands with no combat skill. I suppose I should've made that clear. As civilian recruitment is easier to perform because of low personal risk, I think that 10,000 each year isn't that OP.
It's more just about your population...taking 10,000 people out of the equation is a huge blow. Some entire provinces don't even have that many people. Taking 40,000 people out of your economy in just four years, especially in a low-population, fantasy world like this one, is devastating. You need something to supplement that.
Spoiler Slaves seem to work. I have all of the native bretons at my disposal, aside from my Akaviri Citizens.
The ones who aren't scholars are jobless assholes, so not that many Akaviri are actually being conscripted.
Think of it as mass servitude of an entire race of people.
Women and children too. If you're tall enough to reach a rope and you don't have any skills in magic, you'd better learn to tie a knot.
I'd say it's fine, but extremely risky, if you are going to bring these ships to battle they will only have the strength in numbers, a well trained Navy would destroy hundreds of ships. Also blue is now Announcement/Mod talk.
Their purpose is as of yet not revealed.
That's fine, just make sure you know what the risks are and implement them in the game, basically slaving half your province comes with consequences.
But Pip, Bretons are sub human jobless scum.
The ones who aren't wizards are completely useless. Of course wizards are given the highest consideration.
Don't think of it as slavery, think of it as socialism. They didn't have jobs, so I found them menial ones.
I thought it was clear that Akavir was going to be a financially agressive power from the start.
everything comes with consequences, I probably am missing out on a lot by not being aggressive, the Aldmeri were hit by the Deadra, it's only fair. Even Bretons can revolt.

Are these my soldiers who escaped, or civilians? I don't even have 1,000 Khajiit soldiers yet
Civilians, only a couple hundred are able and willing to fight.

I swear you people are nocturnal, but yeah I was asleep apologies, the events in Valenwood are fine by me.
Tiber would be cautious with the new Akaviri troops in Black Marsh, however the men at the borders welcome the help from their military supporters. A call to arms is set up in Black Marsh however for The Empire, and the Argonian leaders would recognize the Akaviri as supporters but make sure to show they bear the Empire symbols in the Black Marsh.
When the fuck did you take over Black Marsh?
Cyrodiil accepts the Aldmeri Dominion's offer for non-aggression.
The advisor agrees with the military alliance, but asks that all access to the Elder Scrolls will be watched and any/all Akaviri be escorted in and out.
The Empire welcomes the Black Marsh, while still holding control of their lands, all Imperial Legion troops will be allowed in and out of Black Marsh, in return for protection against any threats. The 500 men start setting up garrisons at the borders while another 500 march towards Black Marsh.

A small convoy of Khajit escapee's got away from the Aldmeri Dominion, 1,000 in total, 200 being ready and able to join the Imperial Legion, 400 capable of joining within the next few years, and the other 400 welcomed to make homes in the cities.
Thanks to new call to arms in both Black Marsh and Cyrodiil, the estimated total recruits this year goes up to 1,400.

Because Nirn has a such a reactive environment, every now and then natural responses will change the course of the game. These will usually be based off of player actions, but sometimes they are random.
Things such as natural disasters, divine intervention, daedric schemes, and other reactiv events are denoted in gold. The following, for example, is based off of the thinning barrier between Nirn and oblivion due to the destruction of the Crystal Tower.
Cults of Deadra worshippers have started cropping up through Elsweyr. Some Justicars report hearing foul whispers in their sleep.
I hope you understand that the towers are the barriers between Mundus and Aetherius, not Nirn and Oblivion. I'll role with it, though.
100 additional justicars are rerouted to Elsweyr in an attempt to combat the Daedric worshippers. Anyone possessing a Daedric artifact or text is subject to the same punishment as a Talos worshipper.
We could have a lorefag argument, but I believe that Oblivion and Aetherius are really the same, and this is supported by the plot of TES:IV when Molag Bal used the deactivation of the White-Gold tower as an opportunity to enter Mundus. And for all intents and purposes, Mundus=Nirn.
Other players are also encouraged to make Gold posts in response to certain events, whenever they think a lore appropriate response might happen.
Akavir begins the training of 100 Shadow Blades, capable of using advanced magical combat techniques. Training estimated complete by page 5.
Let's not get into any arguments please, the gold events is a good idea but if certain parts are vague/debatable, let's try to avoid it. Even with non-aggression treaties, and alliances, Tiber decides to have a special group dedicated to protecting him. 100 of the best Imperial Legion Soldiers begin training to become The Blades.

Small garrisons have been made while a supply route is being set, the 500 men spread into groups across the borders. The Imperial Insignia on all soldiers.
Another 500 recruits have been trained.
So far the convoy would go by without issue, probably stopped by Imperial Legion troops when they got close to a city but the whole convoy was allowed passage.

The call to arms has reached over 500 men in 6 months, making 1,000 more recruits to the Imperial Legion by the end of the year.
The 500 men succussfully make it to Black Marsh, the locals more cautious than welcoming. The Men ask to see whoever is in charge to discuss the future of the Black Marsh and The Empire.
Tiber sends a small group of men, led by Tiber's loyal advisor, to High Rock to discuss future relations between the Dragonborn leaders. Hoping to keep peace between them.

Tiber Septim sends out a messenger to the Summerset Isle. Asking for an alliance between The Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion.
Recruitment for the Imperial Legion starts, as 500 men begin a march into the Black Marsh, hoping to take territory for future settlements.
A tax is set in place for the Imperial City, to be set for all of Cyrodiil later on, the tax will take 6% of all income of citizens.

I don't want everyone to wait, so anyone who didn't reply/ask their question can still ask while the game goes on.
Valenwood, Black Marsh and Elsweyr are now free land to take, as no-one has stepped up to take it, you'll have to take the land yourself however and hope nobody else tried at the same land.
Meta Cognition and I will moderate the game, answering any questions or fixing any problems.
You are free to start from here.

What age is this? What military size do we start off with?
No set timeline, which is why I asked what ruler everyone wanted since it could be anyone.
Military size....how about 2,000 per Province, to give everyone equal starts.
All right, sounds good. Let me know when we're starting.
Probably when I get everyone to reply/all questions answered, we'll start. I'm just waiting for everyone to respond showing they are still here.

Meta = Dunmer Province: Morrowind (do I get Solstheim, too?) Ruler: King Redoran Helseth. Economy: Mostly agrarian, consisting of free farmers, herders and fishermen under the watch of the nobility of the Great Houses. There are also some mercantile elements, as mining and trading is based on production of the rare Kwama eggs, ebony and raw glass. Color: Orange.
You just made it easier on me, thx, and yeah you can have Solstheim.
