The whole goal of the Invasion system in Dark Souls 2 is so players have another challenge in the form of online play, it is literally called "invasion". I don't remember anyone ever consenting to someone invading their land. It makes zero sense for you to be able to "pick and choose" who invades you. That just means that the entire concept of player invasion is flawed as fuck and should be destroyed.
There is also NPC's who invade or come to your aid as well, it's not always online players. This is the only acceptable form of invasion. If there's already NPC invasions, there is NO NEED for player invasions. If someone wants to join your game, they should have to request it from you first. That's how it should work.
Plus, they have the opposite to help you out during your time on Dark Souls 2. You can touch a sign on the ground and "pop!" A friend from another world comes to help you out. So it isn't all invading and killing eachother. Doesn't matter. There's still invasions, and that's bad.

While i'll admit, there is a lot of assholes who exploit the system. However to hate the invasion system because you can't "consent" to it is rediculous.

If I want to play an online game, I only want to play with people that I've given express permission to do so. If they don't have my consent, then they don't have the right to play the game with me. The end.

I remember using a double purple-bladed lightsaber back in KOTOR. I'd say the name wrong just to emphasize how ridiculous I thought it was.
I always thought Galen Marek had a pretty cool saber in the first game. Ahsoka's hilt isn't too bad, either.
Since the hilt is meant to be completely connected to you alone, i'd say the type of saber is more of the point of the thread than the hilt. I do like how you went into detail on that though. Ahsoka's hilt is badass.

Which lightsaber(s) would you want in your hands when fighting the Jed-I meant sith! Since there are a lot of different types of Lightsabers I thought it's be interesting to see which people like best. Mine would be a normal lightsaber in my right hand. But a Violet color.  Fun fact: Samuel L Jackson, the actor of Mace Windu, actually had the words "Bad Motherfucker" engraved in his purple lightsaber, but covered in his hands while filming. Then in my off hand (left) I would have a gaurd shoto lightsaber. As defense.  This would be a hard combat style to master, but I love the idea of it. So now, gimme your ideas!
