I think they have their hearts in the right place. Honestly do. For awhile they were doing strong in the story department. It was different and interesting.
However, great ideas with poor execution. I get what they were going for with Halo 5, but honestly Cortana shoulda stayed dead and the Didact being the main enemy. Honestly I would have been a little better with the whole Created thing if it was actually The Didact acting as a Created. Luring Chief in with the Cortana disguise and convincing the AI of the universe against the humans. All to the goal of The Mantle.
NOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTING.

I used to larp. My friends and I were some of the only teens there. Most of them there were marines and paramedics and it was a lot of fun. The plot was always exciting and new. We used boffers (pvp pipe, foam and gaff taped swords), bows and arrows, and spell packets. I was an assassin and pretty good at sneaking up and assassinating people when needed. I usually was on the outskirts of the larger battles because my stats were pretty low. There are about 300+ people who go to the LARP I went to. It was also a 3 day event every month and three 4 day events every year. I stopped going a loooong time ago.
I honestly have to ask now. With 300+ people, what was the average age, weight and attitude there?

I don't think it was ever explained in the MCU.
In Thor 1 he had to act selflessly in order to obtain Mjolnir again, so it seems like the prerequisite for lifting it is being moral.
Rogers couldn't lift it though (even though yeah, eventually he will be able to as the comics show).

I never hated larping or saw it as wrong, but to say I didn't like it before would be correct. I got into the view of these glasses wearing 300 pound nerds just wacking eachother with fake swords.
