PS4's launch did well because Xbox's marketing made people NOT want it and PS4's was riding on that. Also, Destiny marketing brought a lot of Halo 1-3 fans to Playstation. Definitely an extremely hyped game. Are they both meh? Yeah but it's what we got. Luckily Xbox just got out of their own hole while Playstation is diggin their own. They should have just approved mods tbh.

That tends to be Xbox's MO though. Suck at the start, then blow it out of the park. The slim was pretty great, if Scorpio does well we will see another 360 vs PS3 situation
