Civilization 5 or Titanfall
If he gets either of those he should get all of the DLC with them. If not they can get stale.
Civ 5 it's a must because all of the mods that require the DLC
Titanfall he doesn't have to worry because the DLC is all free now.
Yeah, so in Titanfall you're kinda a dumbass if you don't have em. In Civ 5 you'll be limiting yourself greatly.

Dark Souls 1, 2 or 3. Any of them honestly. While DS1 will always be my favorite I cannot deny that 2 is still great and 3...well, test it out.

 Time for another tournament, this time anyone with a PC can play! Brawlhalla is currently FREE TO PLAY on steam, go buy it and check it out! For anyone who doesn't know... Brawlhalla is a small fighting game developed by Blue Mammoth Games, very similar to the very popular Super Smash Brothers but unique in it's own way. It has singleplayer tournament and free battle modes, as well as online and ranked modes. It can also hold up to 8 players for total mayhem. Now that that's through, let's get to tournament stuffs. For this Tournament, the goal is to have 8 or 12 people fighting it out.(if it's 2-7 or 9-11, all of this is subject to change also.) The battles will consist of a 4 player free for all at the start. In elimination style. Everyone will have 3 lives and the last 2 standing will move on to the next round. Which then it will be 1v1 battles between 2 players. The ones who succeed those will move on to the finale. A final 1v1 against the final 2. Of course, this is all guessing we will have 8 or 12 players. Hopefully we do. If not i'll change this up. The winner of the tournament will get....prize pending. Maybe Cheat will make a "Brawl Master" title or something. Idk. And yes, I will be participating. SO, you wanna join eh? Well to do so, place a link to your steam user page below. You must also have a way to voice chat, if everyone could get on the discord that would help a LOT.(someone put the link to the discord.) Once you post your steam user page, i'll friend you from there so I can just invite you when the tournament starts.

Fire Axe, honestly the most useful weapon with little maintenance.
Handgun, smallest ammo, may be harder to kill but it adds extra protection either way.
Backpack. Simple survival backpack that will hold everything I need.
Contents:
-Water
-Food
-Miscellaneous supplies and tools, light enough to travel with.
Baggy, thick clothing to protect from any scratches or bites. Probably thick sweat shirts and sweats so I can still move in them.
Thick boots, to cover any terrain.
A beanie, to cover any hair pulling, remember that clementine.
Small satchel/fanny pack. To house anything I need on the fly.
-Handgun ammo
-Knife
-firecrackers/throwable noise makers
-flashlight
There ya go. Survival at it's finest.

This is an interesting little game I found on steam, it is currently early access(yeah...) however it is free and is a LOT of fun.
Much like smash, you widdle down your oppononet until they get knocked out of the map, with(using Xbox controller) X, B and Y you can do different power and simple attacks.
The difference between Smash and this however is that there is preset weapons for each character/legend. You pick up an on fire sword that spawns on the map to get these weapons. Mattering by the character and preset you can get everything from dual pistols, to bows, to schimitars and rocket powered spears. All that buff your character's capabilities with a whole new set of moves.
I was able to get a bunch of people from my starwarsrp server to play, and we had a BLAST. Sure we were limited to the characters on rotation but it didn't stop us from beating eachother up.
