Vanguard. Makes it really interesting to work with.
Nice. I played through the first game as a Soldier and the rest of the games as a Sentinel.
Ugh... all this talk is making me want to play through the games again. Sucks that my 360 is borked.
I never had ME1-ME2. So I just got it while it was on sale. If it still is then it's $8.74 on Steam. The controls are a little awkward but better than most.

-Figured out a political figure played me and made me kill her sister
-Did NOT save a political figure from biotic terrorists
-Helped the Consort deal with her issues and got some words in return...
-Chatted up Best Aliens Tali and Garrus, oh and Kaiden
-And sat in an elevator for 5 hours

The most consistent romance in the game is Liara, but by all means if you like her go for it. I just personally dislike how they handled her in Mass Effect 3, as opposed to ME2.
I just find how she is in ME 1&2 to be interesting. Luckily I don't have a copy of ME3 atm. Nor will I be able to crossover any romances because PC.
Garrus is by far best alien tho.
He is. I enjoyed ME3 as well, despite the ending (which I felt the extended thing pretty much fixed to as much of an extent as it could).
I had ME3 for awhile. Got around just before Tali appears and played a bunch of multiplayer. So technically this playthrough is my first ever time seeing Tali. Garrus though, straight off the bat in ME1 he is cool. Always friendly, willing to help, and a badass in a fight. It's too bad that ME1 AI don't always figure out what cover is.
