The Flood / On the topic of roleplaying.« on: September 07, 2015, 06:39:56 PM »
NOTE: This is talking about chat, tabletop or forum roleplaying. NOT RPGs.
So I gotta question for all you roleplayers like me. What genre is the most enjoyable to roleplay? ((SFW please)) And, what is your preferred way of roleplaying? Live Chat? Forum? Tabletop? Etc? Mine personally would be Fantasy, realistic roleplays are boring to me, being able to fly a motha fuckin dragon to the next city? Or sending bursts of magic at your enemies? HELL YES. Oh, and my favorite way to roleplay is live chat. 304
The Flood / Out of all the new music coming out« on: September 03, 2015, 01:49:40 PM »

Gaming / Which should I get?« on: August 04, 2015, 02:02:42 PM »
So i am deciding to buy a BLOPS 2 dlc zombie map at some point in the future, and i'm undecided on which I should get. I'm leaning towards MotD or Origins but idk.
What do you think? 318
Gaming / CoD Zombies?« on: August 01, 2015, 10:36:18 AM »
I think most of us can agree, CoD Zombies is one of the only redeeming factors Call of Duty has. So if you do like Zambies, what's your favorite part about it?
Mine would be that there is a Good Storyline in a Call of Duty game, not noticeable at first but when you take the time to look around it's pretty good! 319
The Flood / Ship Avatars together.« on: July 19, 2015, 10:13:22 PM »
I'm bored as hell, so let's do some stupid shit.
Take your avatar, or someone else's, and ship it with another person's avatar. Plez Kitsunekun or someone draw the ships if they can, for science of course. Spoiler All the credit goes to XSEAN's post, again, i'm bored. Spoiler I need to think about how the hell i'll ship Gardevoir. 320
Gaming / Is Esports a legitimate sport?« on: July 17, 2015, 06:30:04 PM »
We all know the titans known as LoL, DOTA, SMITE, etc. MOBA's are well known in the world of Esports. However, can we call them a legitimate sport like Football, Baseball, Tennis, etc?
We have games that are known as sports games(FIFA, NBA2K, Madden, Rocket League). However, can they be counted as an actual sport? Or, is Esport the new term for competitive gaming? A whole new version of the original term sport, and to be kept that way? Just wondering what your opinion is all. 321
Gaming / Rocket League?« on: July 16, 2015, 08:14:30 PM »
I plan on getting the game soon, it's only $20 and it seems a lot of fun.
What do all of ya'll think of it? 322
The Flood / Opinion on SFW roleplay?« on: July 15, 2015, 12:43:09 PM »
Not RPGs, I mean roleplay as in D&D, Pathfinder, Forum roleplay, and live roleplay. What is your opinion on it?
(Adding SFW because I don't wanna here about rape fantasies.) I have been roleplaying for the better of 3-4 years now, and while i'm not as interested in role play as I once was, I still look back it fondly. It's a lot of fun to play a different character and have stories that would never happen in real life. 323

The Flood / I got banned on B.net« on: July 14, 2015, 10:46:06 PM »
I was bored, didn't know what to do. So I messed around on b.net.
I swear the Ninjas have gotten more strict. I made one post that is a little...rude(I was really bored) and it got banned, yet I see twelve more that are MUCH more offensive than mine that aren't banned. Da fuq? Either way, won't be doing it again, i'm done messing with gimmicks and making sh*tposts. 325
Gaming / Elder Scrolls/Dragon Age fun facts« on: July 14, 2015, 05:54:41 PM »
While i'm not too versed in Elder Scrolls lore, I will be learning more as time goes on and adding facts here.
I am more knowledgeable in Dragon Age, so here is the first fact: WARNING, SOME OF THE FACTS WILL BE SPOILER FILLED, like this one. Did you know if you make Allistair kill Loghain, and Anora Queen in Origins. You can either have Allistair killed... Or make him exiled and turn him into a drunk. The love between Wardens huh? Go ahead and post your own fun facts too. 326
Gaming / My Dragon Age Inquisition Review.« on: July 12, 2015, 01:17:07 PM »
WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD.
So I asked what people think of it quite while back, so now i'll be giving my full review. I haven't seen all of what Inquisition offers, but I have 60-70 hours packed into the game before I beat it, so I have experienced a lot. Now let's begin. Graphics: Wanted to get this one out of the way first. On my Xbox One, it looks absolutely amazing, maybe not as great as some games on X1, but beautiful nonetheless. I did not get why everything had to be so shiny though, I got used to it later on so it didn't bother me too much though. Story: This'll be a big one. So the game opens up on the main menu with the Conclave, a meeting meant to bring the Rebel Mages and Templars to an agreement, ending the war. However when you start a new game you see the Conclave blown to bits, which is where this begins. So you start off in the Fade, after you create your character you are running away from demon spiders, then a mysterious green lady holds out her hand to save you, once you grab her hand you get teleported out of a Fade Rift with a glowing mark on your hand. So you play as the "Herald of Andraste" or "The Inquisitor" throughout the whole game. Fighting against the forces of Corypheous. The whole story is kinda....average, nothing too unique or special happens that keeps you on the edge of your seat, sure some things are quite interesting. I really want to learn more about Flemeth and Solace after this game. The Characters are....good and bad, they are all unique to eachother, but you have really seen all of the characters in a game, book or movie before. Each of the stories between them have something interesting, but again, we've seen them all before. I only liked Blackwall and Iron Bull's companion quest out of them all. Another thing I didn't like, Corypheous is supposed to be this all powerful being, who has the power of an Archdemon and armies of demons and Venatori behind him, but you spend half the game just kicking his ass, he literally becomes desperate by the end of the game, doing absolutely anything to beat you, which he loses at as well. Then there is the ending, uuuuuuuugh the ending. All this buildup and this?! If you were hoping for a huge battle, his forces against yours, you'll be dissapointed to see that barely any of your choices throughout the game affect the ending. I wanted to see the Bull's Chargers going straight into the fray killing demons, I wanted to see the Templars and Grey Wardens fight side by said against abominations. I got none of that. While the slideshow ending with Morrigan Narration did make it a little better, I was very dissapointed to see how, again, you just kick Corypheous' ass with barely any risk. Gameplay: So gameplay wise, this game is good and bad, battles can be interesting and fun, but the strategy that went into previous games isn't here. One glance at the tactics screen shows that, and that one mode in battle was basically useless, I used it twice in my whole playthrough, TWICE. That doesn't mean the battles are bad, they are a lot of fun and there is still some strategy put into it. I also highly suggest trying Knight Enchanter if you're a mage, the battles as a Knight Enchanter are great, and you are basically unstoppable. One thing I need to mention is how the game starts you off though, in previous games you started with two or three people to control, wasn't too difficult to get used to, then later one you get four once you get used to the tactics and roles you can make the characters play. In Inquisition, you get about 15 minutes of 2 man team action before you are thrusted in with 4 people in your group. Then you get to the Hinterlands about 30 mins later, and you are completely overehelmed by this HUGE map, the devs have actually said The Hinterlands is bigger than all of DA:O I believe. That is an intimidating thing to know, now you have to figure out where to go and what to do, before you know it you are lost and just trying to figure out where you are. The MMO style really didn't work with the game IMO. However, almost all dungeons I have found don't need to load into, instead just loaded in with the whole map. A huge plus IMO. Just another gripe is how most conversations you have are not in cutscenes, however I give it a pass since this game is huge and all story/companion quests have cutscenes. Overall, I give this game a 7/10, even with it's issues it's a really fun game, with so much to do and great battles to fight(Dragons anyone?) This is definitely a game to play if it goes for sale, but make sure you have the time to play this huge game. 327
