You know what always makes me shut right up? Getting encouraged by somebody to try something or take part in something, and then being asked my opinion on it.

I'm open to solutions on my end. Open to trying new things. But I can't look anybody in the eyes and tell them that through the whole experience, I got nothing, I felt nothing. No interest, no challenge, no immersion, or fun. Nothing.

I did it once before with somebody. Honestly, the look on their face and in their eyes isn't something I'd prefer to see ever again. And it's a drama train I only ever had to ride once before I decided I wasn't taking a ride on it again.

Serious / Re: Supposedly Exxon predicted Climate Change in the 70's
« on: February 15, 2016, 01:46:37 PM »
Not a really surprising sentiment.

I've heard some depressing talks on the radio as of late. Apparently, there's study being done on a material that can be sprayed high up in the stratosphere. It'll bond with the chemicals up there to form reflective particles which will effectively block out sunlight, especially when applied to generated cloud systems as a whole.

What's depressing about it however, is that the researcher, who has a history of not being afraid to say shit, openly stated that even if this procedure is implemented, it'll be likely that companies will start polluting more because they have the excuse of being able to say that climate change is lessened and things are cooling off again.

Thus requiring more artificial cloud cover and spraying more wonderful sulfuric acid into our stratosphere.

I attempted suicide today. Almost worked, but the rope I tied to the tree trunk was loose enough to where I fell to the ground. I don't know what to do anymore, really.

You need to pick up a phone and call a doc. Now.

The Flood / Re: Do you type properly?

"home-key position" is a load of horse-shit. It's casual-tier typing for computer illiterates and seven year-olds. If you can't become one with the keyboard, how can you expect to type accurately in total darkness?

Memories of my fat computer teacher blibbering out "Iffs falled hommme rooow" as wheelbarrows of low calorie slim fast cookies descend into her dark maw.

Really hoped that'd stay buried.
I had the coolest computer teacher in elementary school tbh, but home row is still retarded. Why the fuck would you limit yourself in such a stupid way such as that you can't even efficiently hit half of the keyboard?

Oh, you know.  It's part of the many sensible, practical, and useful things they teach to children in school.

That's how I started drinking coffee. I came inside one day from -40. I didn't feel like having something cold to drink. So I tried coffee. The warmth, the smell, the taste. Best 15 minute break I ever had.

Time to dispose of the bag nice and quiet like. Just toss it away.

No way! It's a specialty strain we call LBL. The friend were waiting on loves it.

Weigh the options then. You think you're gonna get caught for sure? Then you know what you gotta do. Otherwise don't sit here and ask us like a dork.

I dunno man. No one in this bar looks like a cop, but who knows?

Smoke it and find out then.

Dawkins is a stuck up cunt anyway. They wouldn't be missing much even if he did attend.
Wait, why?
He's pretentious as hell. Not that he deserves a stroke or any of that. But he'll probably be fine. Depends on the severity of the stroke. I assume the folks that don't like him do so because he bashes religion. I don't like him because as I said, he's a pretentious fuck. If there's anything I can't stand, it's pretentious people.
That's exactly what makes him so likable, though.

No. Until you've worked and done a job for a pretentious person, you don't get to say that.

They're the kind of people I'd murder slowly by tenderizing them with a shovel.
