I'm honestly more concerned about that Halo 2 Shadow flying when it's supposed to be a low hovering ground troop transport.
Yeah, so turns out that it's actually not a Shadow. The lore community looked into this and after contacting several sources, we found out through Stephen Loftus that it's not a Shadow, despite the fact it looks exactly like one.

I played Grifball and got the hammer mechanics down in 2 minutes. Damn that plays easy. People are telegraphed as fuck. They try sprint lunging you. You can just swing and get free kills off them.

I understand that maybe women are underepresented in Hollywood, but when you try and crowbar women into roles they don't fit just for the sake of having women in a movie, it doesn't exactly solve the problem.
Not to mention the blatant stereotyping and stale humour, the recipe for any disastrous movie.
How is anyone supposed to take this issue seriously when they pump out this garbage?
Replacing all the actresses with men wouldn't save this. It genuinely looks like a piece of shit movie.
I feel like the only movie that's done female representation or empowerment well lately was Mad Max. Mainly because, as you said, shoehorning characters in for the sake of having them there isn't the solution. It's like that gay dude in Mass Effect 3 and that trans person in dragon age 3. Stale carboard characters who are just there to make a statement rather than have any charm as a character. Furiosa wasn't shoehorned in for the sake of things.

Bias. There's no middle ground--you're either too white, too black, not white enough, or not black enough. And that's not even getting into other races. There's no irracial or aracial--unless the characters are aliens, or some shit, race will always be a focal point for some people.
People like looking for shit to whine about, and feeling like they're a part of some big important movement.
 You see that guy? That's arguably an alien, no doubt? Well, people found a way anyway. People made a hubub about this particular alien having a Jamacian accent. So, yeah, even then. Unless said alien is a completely silent murder machine, people gonna people.
