I'm happy to say I haven't been sick with any sort of cold once this entire year. I plan on keeping it that way too.

I feel like I'm the only one here who couldn't give less of a shit about his health.

What about the folks who never commented in the first place? I think they've got ya beat there.
Well posting has nothing to do with caring.

Sure it does. Sometimes folks read something and don't post at all cause they can't be arsed to. Happens to everybody now and then.

You're probably not alone in your sentiments though.

I'd actually wager that something like that is happening now. Japan's not the only place with lowering rates of sex. North America has been tanking over the last couple decades as well. Lowering fertility rates. Take into account the trends with both sexes these days? Women pushing the "stronk independant" and guys seemingly receeding. We might already be in the stages of that mess.

I've got a little theory about people though. Put too many of them in one space together, and they start to fail. A little bit like mob mentality with riots. Looking at things, I think we function at our best, in low numbers and close knit groups. There's a cutoff point to where adding more numbers goes backwards instead of forwards.

You know how they say two heads are better than one? It's a true statement. Toss in too many extra heads though and it just doesn't hold up.

How long do you reckon it took Truth's ship to breach atmosphere?

Looks like it exited slipspace just beyond the moon, so Chief was fucking around on that ship for a few hours? Days?

Two weeks.

The time span between Halo 2 and Halo 3 was two weeks.
He's asking how long it took Truth to get from orbit to ground. It takes 30 minutes for the space shuttle to get from orbit to the ground so if say it took Truth about an hour.

I derped then.

Two weeks and an hour.

I can trust folks. But never completely. Even the people I talk to outside the spotlight. I'd be dumb to place absolute trust. And, more often than not, I expect a knife in the back at some point, simply because it exists within the realm of possibility.

Then again, I don't talk to people much anymore because I don't trust myself. I'd rather not bleed out all the horrid depressing things cooped up inside my head on people I have a semblance of care for. I know that people can trust me with what they want to say. Mostly because I keep things quiet or I just forget about them at some point.

But, I certainly wouldn't and don't trust myself around them.

"The Covenant are on Reach. I repeat, the Covenant are on Reach."

That's not bad writing as much as it is bad line delivery. The line itself if fine.

The lines you stated could have easily been made not as shitty by their delivery as well. I bet if Miranda had ripped an assault rifle out of some marine's hands and loaded it up while she delivered "To war" in a more convincing tone, it'd have been just fine.
It wouldn't though.
It'd still be a ridiculous answer to a legitimate and important tactical question.
Plus she just walks back down the steps after she says that anyway.

Would it help if instead she changed direction and went with the marines?

One more thing to add though. Building muscle is a rather slow affair. Much slower than fat. My average used to be 180 pounds. I lost 20 during heavy chemo. And I think, it took at least two, to three months for me to gain that back.

I now weigh 220 pounds. And I checked. Not fat. 30 pounds of muscle because I pushed myself after coming out of the heavy stuff. From then to now that took me about six months to get with being active and on my feet every single day for at a bare minimum, 8-9 hours a day, working on hauling stuff.

Then again, that's me. You need to find out precisely how you yourself work before we can go with any solid advice.

I'd reccommend talking to Jive since he's our resident macho man, or Wolvers on Bungle if he's still there.

Garrus, Thane and Mordin don't.
Or Zaeed and Kasumi.

Kasumi has boyfriend issues though. And as somebody said.

Thane IS the daddy issue.

I currently weigh about 160Ibs. I think once I hit 180Ibs I'll be able to say I'm okay with my body. If I can reach 200 eventually I'll be extremely happy.

Are you going after muscle mass or just gaining more weight in general?
More mass in general, especially in my arms and torso. Whatever that means. I don't want a gut but I'm way too thin all over. Should I focus on muscle or fat too?

Dunno. I think it depends on the person. But not quite. If you watch really obese people slim down, you'll notice that they lose fat in all avenues. Arms, face, legs, torso. So I'm assuming that it works that way as well if you want to increase your weight. It'll all round out.

A little bit of fat might do you some good. Fat, of which, is a hell of a lot easier to acquire then muscle. Then again, that depends on how active you are.

When I was right in the middle of my heavy chemo, I went down to 160 pounds because I didn't eat fuck all. My average weight was normally 180. When I started eating more again, it didn't take too long to gain that weight back.

This is something complex to consider though because you don't want to overshoot your weight. I'd focus on both, more fat, and building some muscle.

Mordin is a daddy. So he's fine.

Zaheed is probably too old to even remember a father. So he's fine.

But, on thinking of it. You're about 90% right. Which, is terrible frankly, because now it seems like Shepard tried to plow everybody in the first game, and then went into advanced tactics for plowing everything with daddy issues in the second.

And then I guess, in the third one, he dumped all them highschool bitches.

You've turned ME into a token highschool fanfic. I'm just gonna go whitewash whatever decent memories I had left of the series now.

Try setting written goals.

Not that I'm trying to come up with excuses here. But my schedule changes constantly. Written goals would go up in flames.

One of the biggest detractors for motivation, is time, for me. I work all the god damn time. Come home, slow down, and then muse on what I want to do for myself. And then realize that I don't have the time for it when I've shit to do. Maybe a couple hours at the max. And that's not enough time. I look at that and I go "the fuck's the point?"

Two hours is nothing, to the things that I pursue.

And I can't tell you, how much having my work interrupted pisses me off.

Apparently so. I am taking my phone though, so we'll see.

Neat. Have fun, if that's the intention.
Yeah, it's totally not a conciliatory holiday for my parents before I move three hours away for the next next two years, to a foreign country for the third year and then back to being three hours away for the fourth year.

Totally about fun.

Fine then. Don't have fun.

If I ever make anything it's either

A) A vent if I can't keep it cooped up anymore
B) Something that sparks an interest or notable reaction in me

I figure it works in the same manner for most as well. And as for caring, well, some do, some don't. Personally, I don't see why some people wouldn't care. This is a strange little community. We're all basically the strangers, outcasts, and throwaways of regular folks.

People of that caliber tend to stick together, and seem to have a knack for finding each other.

Plus no mater what you think, Escalation is objectively worse anyway

Spoiler

The art is awful in Escalation/Initiation, 343 better partner with a better comic publisher next time they embark on a comic series

I had an idea in mind once. If I could get my hands on a few more various Halo assets, out of sheer curiousity to see if I could do it, I'd like to see if I could re-create the escalation comics usinng ripped Halo models and re-creating everything in gmod.

The only person I really know on this site is rocket, so I just picked people I thought were nice :/

You dun goofed Ender. Me an Psy are gonna rattle our bones and spook ya. And rocket? I guess he can rattle his bible. Equally as disturbing as the spookiest of skeletons.
Well I mean technically my bones don't rattle, they just crack like fireworks every few minutes.

If I windmill my arms it's like bonfire night, if I move my ankles it's a good old western shootout.

yey me

Me too friend. All I have to do is rotatate my arms and they snap.

My knees crack like loud mother fuckers when I bend em.
