The past 10 times or so at least that I've been on here I've done not much else besides smh and not post.

Still, y'all nigs don't ever stop keepin' on keepin' on.

And apparently you don't either, if you're still here. Apparently everybody here are as stubborn as stumps.
Wait what? You're confusing me. .

You technically haven't stopped keepin' on keepin' on if you're still here is what I mean. Everybody on this site are generally as stubborn as stumps when it comes to just about anything.

The underlying problem is the fact that we have a system that let's anyone with enough money hold PEOPLE'S LIVES for ransom in the first place
Why don't you tell me how you would organise the pharmaceutical industry then? Tell me how you would organise such a cost-intensive part of the economy so as to function efficiently without some kind of cost being incurred. I'd love to hear how you've reviewed all the healthcare literature from the WHO and MedPac, and are thus in a position to make such sweeping, ideological statements; I'm sure you wouldn't make such statements, unless you had a solid empirical understanding of what you're talking about. So, tell me all about how you would organise the biomedicial infrastructure of the US, how you would implement a superior system for the production and distribution of drugs and how you would accomplish such shockingly brilliant efficiency without the standard incentives which should be operating on pharma companies in some kind of market framework upheld by the government.

But something tells me you haven't even bothered to do the slightest research, and have no idea what the fuck you're actually talking about.

Half assed joking and part wise serious here.

Remove money. Problem solved. Keep all the current systems, but just remove currency. Everybody does their shit and gets access to the system because they do their time and contribute to keeping the wheels turning.

I know. Alien concept. Doing things simply because you're able to with no exterior carrot on a stick to drag you along on crutches. Scary.

I got the chosen undead from dark souls II.

I'm assuming that it's my character then. Which means It's a 50/50 on me surviving.

50 says he goes dual invisible greatswords with full havels and a shield that can block just about anything, and goes apeshit on Nathan.

50 says he goes in naked with bare fisties and iron flesh.

If you smoke pot, you should be shot 30,000 times in the head, to be honest.

It's okay Verb. If we're to believe the over dramatic drama wagon advertising so venomously that pot's the worst shit since satan himself when compared to other drugs;

it's like shooting yourself in the head 30,000 times.

In a garden of billions we are each a rose, some of us are beautiful some of us are smart. Yet each of us has a color identifying who we are how we feel our emotions and desires. Yet a very, very, small amount of us are without color. We feel like we lack any real identity or feeling. It is as though we have never had anything real to look forward to. The real colorless roses, not those who try for whatever reason, are lonely even though some try to hide it. It is a wound that cripples us from the soul. Our very soul has been damaged, be it we felt like this since birth or something terrible has happened to us.For those who have been harmed by experience, we feel like nothing is worth our time, If we just fell asleep and never woke up. It wouldn’t make much of a difference.

Some of us have lost everything and they feel as if they are not worth existing.I am still lucky enough to have people around me, I know others don’t. The worst part is many of them want to love they want human affection. Yet they know that no one will give their love back to them. Many of us have chosen different paths based on our experience. I have tried to keep a smile wide, I know if I stopped trying the only other person that cares about me would stop too.

When I say care I mean that deeply as in they would do nearly anything for me, as would I. And that is why I keep my smile even if it is fake. It isn’t for me it’s for that one person. For those still willing to move forward it takes a major toll on us. That is why we have become colorless roses, devoid of real attachment or happiness.

This is what it is for one to be a “Colorless Rose”.

Do me a favor. If my writing ever spirals down into this.

Bullet to the head please.

I kinda feel like legalization would totally burn out contemporary weed culture in a few years or so.
I kinda get that feeling, too, actually.

But I dunno. There's still "alcohol culture". We don't normally think of it like that, but it's there.

Alcohol culture is a much older, deeply ingrained aspect to western society though, isn't it? That one's a little bit harder to curb.
I dunno, the tobacco market (which is older than the USA) has been a thing since the 17th century and smoking is on the decline.

Now resurrected in bastard form as vaping no doubt.
Vaping doesn't use tobacco though, fam. Only nicotine, and that's to ween a smoker off of it.

Gotta start somewhere I guess. I never really did buy into that whole weening off to quit thing though.

All the people who I've ever seen set themselves up to ween themselves off have failed. Little bit of psychology in there. They set their own barriers from the get go and fail because of it. It's just mental trickery with themselves. The only people who I've ever seen quit smoking did it cold and hard.

My bad. Ramblings. Anyway. Whatever gets those folks through I guess. We might eventually drag our way to some semblance of a functioning society.

Neat.
Except vaping actually works because a bigger cloud = more nicotine at once, even though the doses are smaller. Over time you can drop from 15mg to 10mg, 10mg to 5mg, and so on until you're free of it. It's not the same as weening off of cigarettes where you get the same amount of nicotine in every hit (unless you constantly switch brands).

Interesting. Although once more, folks as always seem to find a way to bugger shit up. Some people don't use vaping to quit, I assume you're aware?
Well yeah. In which case, it's a safe hobby that also costs hundreds of dollars to do.

Hmm. Well, people find a way I guess. No more expensive than smoking or any other form of drugs I'd wager. I don't think Nicotine is exactly the best for the human body though, no?
People who vape for recreation use nicotine-free juice, just like ex-smokers eventually do.

It costs around $150 for a "good" vape, and $10 for 15g bottles of juice. The former is an initial cost, the latter is a constant cost.

Hmm. Actually rather cheap. Not too bad.

What I observed in high school was people continued down the same path they were on before smoking.  There were the people who were responsible and consistent who kept that up after they started smoking and still got good grades and went to college.  Then there was the class clowns who just let weed control them, blowing off friends and lying just to smoke.  They were gonna be losers before weed.

That's actually a fair point. I've seen the same thing with my classmates and other classes.

I think the clones, during the clone wars were strict neutrals. Just indoctrinated, genetically made soldiers, made for the sole purpose of protection and defending. They had no real side. At that point in time they were all just sort of pawns on the game board.

During the empire years, that was a bit different though.

Something I wondered a little while back. Let's just say that you remove money from the equation of things and you found a functioning system that goes without monetary currency.

Would that not technically decimate black markets? Since they're in it for the high money game because illegal stuff sells for extraordinary prices, in theory, a system devoid of currency would cut down immensely on drug use wouldn't it?

Since the dealers would no longer have a means to make any technical profit, they'd likely die out, no? Only the dedicated ones would stay around. And I mean, let's face it, who the fuck makes drugs because it's fun?

Except that it is. Don't shrug it off. Tell me what you personally gain from sitting down, spending time, and playing a round of games, excluding personal enjoyment and thoughts.

What do you physically gain in your life, beyond being sedentry, and potentially introducing yourself to new avenues of diseases that have developed as a result of people who take gaming too far?
I'm in absolutely no danger of that, so don't even worry about it.

Anyways...

- Games can teach you lessons. Games make organization fun, for example. It's good to be organized, and games can teach you that.
- Games can teach you things in general. A lot of worldviews and philosophies can be expressed by the characters in the story that can give you new perspective.
- Games can improve your own capacity to make your OWN art. Taking bits and elements from other art is how other art is created.
- Games can improve your reaction time.

I could go on. This is piss-easy, Sandtrap.

Now what does smoking pot do for you?

Yeah, that's right. Fuck all.

I never argued that it gave you anything. What I am arguing, is the wasted time spent in lack of moderation.

Verb. Pause for a second, and take a look at the majority of gamers these days. Especially the younger generations. Do you think a very large portion of them can tick off what you just listed for games?

I don't even need a study to say no to that. 90% of them likely waste their time. Therefore making it, a predominantly negative activity. Unless of course, you moderate yourself. You never answered my question, either.

Would it not be arguably better to have some vague sense of moderation, over completely abandoning all restraint?

And I can list some things about pot smokers who do it in moderation. A native fellow who was my co-worker on a construction site. 5 minutes of smoking time. He did it once a week. When he was stoned, yes, he's getting all the smoke and all the toxic crap, but, hang on.

-Guy was much friendlier and easy to get along with
-Way, way less stressed about work
-Didn't bitch about his work and actively focused more on his work
-You were capable of discussing things with him that you normally couldn't, leading to very interesting conversations

So, yeah, he got that damage from smoking. But for one day a week, actually, two, because the day after he was a lot calmer, he was actually, no shit, the most decent fucking person on the job site then everybody else there.

You could argue, that yes, he could use more moderation and never smoke at all. But, like I said, that isn't the world we live in because even you disregard absolute moderation to some extent by being a gamer. So, in that state of his, I would say that it's leagues better, than being a full blown pot junkie on the other end of the spectrum.
