I name my birds after characters from Friends and/or Smokey and the Bandit.

You have a better way to do it, faggot?

I know a little kid who calls all ravens and crows nigger birds.

Their dignity?

Their sense of hygiene?

Their sense of good dental work?

Daddy issues are bad for both girls and boys.

You remind me of one of those big intimidating wrestlers/body builders doing nice things some days, Jive.

Like Dwayne Johnson or AHNOLD going to read to a bunch of kindergartners or something.
Hahaha Santrap WHAT are you talking about?

You just sort of showed up out of nowhere and delivered a line that had no hostility in it whatsoever. And it sounded like something a teacher would say to a group of little kids or something.

AHNOLD does a fair bit of charity work. Dwayne Johnson does. Apparently John Cena showed up on an episode of scooby doo a little while back.

I was just amused at your line here is all. Pretty funny to see a massive guy like a bodybuilder or wrestler show up to speak completely un-hostile to a bunch of little kids or something. That's what ya reminded me of.

Welcome to the internet. I sometimes feel like Im the only one with healthy family relationships.

I can second that notion.

Ticket is singular. You don't buy ticket for you and a baby.

You buy tickets.
Actually babies go free because they're seated on your lap. You only pay for 2+yr olds

Babies are evil by nature but once you get into the 2+ range it's a whole other kind of devilish affair.

Max's simplest solution is to just not take the jihadi express at this point.

There is. It's called a ticket.
reading isn't your forte, is it?

Well......technically you have to buy a ticket for yourself right? And after that ticket you have to buy another one for the baby who still counts as a passenger.

So as a matter of fact, there is a monetary investment after you buy the first ticket.

It's buying the second ticket.
If you're smart you just disguise the child as carry on luggage tho

Or as some kind of deformity attached to you.

"on top of anyticket you buy" obviously covers the cost of the child's ticket. Jesus Christ you guys.

Dark Souls 2's repetitive length is better since NG+ with new items is a thing, more spells/weapons/whatever

but I'll be hard pressed to say the atmosphere and story are better. In fact yeah, they both fall on their asses in DS2 until the DLC comes around.

I have to admit that. Kinda jaded on it though. New Game+ was essentially the place where you started to get cool shit and actual easy access to things. Which made it kind of gay. It's like they built the game and pvp around new game+.
I still think you got cool things on normal game.

It's just a shame they ruined builds in DS2. Which is another thing. PvP matchmaking and all that is better in 2, but they absolutely KILLED builds with soul memory.

Let's also not forget buff souls II. I remember when you could encounter and play pvp in the first souls with people who just used their weapons. It was a clean and interesting fight.

Every single fucking person now has to use buffs up the ass and it's irritating. There isn't even any room to make fun builds because fun builds aren't meant to tank or dish out insane damage.

I hate that they ruined regular weapons to the point where the minimum str and dex requirements are all you need and then you can just go elemental and gain the max damage.

Well you could just deal with it like everyone else on the plane. It's not a big deal.

So.....you mean going on a mass murder spree and silencing the wails of the organic devil machine designed to consume all things in sight and emit unpleasantness from every hole?

Because that would technically count as dealing with it.

I never bought the game from day one because I said to myself, "Gee, this game sure is boring on its own. It was obviously made to kick back and relax on with buddies."

At which point I never bothered because I've no friends to play it with and even if I did I would never catch them at the right times.

Can you really blame Max for having a life?

I don't understand why people like going on holidays. It's more stressful than it's worth.
You must love sitting at home playing video games all day

Yup

I also spend a lot of time reading or writing science fiction

I never claimed to be interesting

You're a stay at home kind of person. If somebody gave you your little patch of sunshine and bunnies you'd probably stay there and very rarely venture out and about.

It's a tough concept for some people to grasp.

Can that be a new type of pokemon? If I remember much from the old cartoon show the pokemon repeated their names a fair bit.

WORLDSTAR would be perfect.

« on: October 03, 2015, 04:27:53 AM »
I dunno if it was the worst. But hell if I remember it all at this point anyway. But I know that it makes me feel the worst. Last year, when the docs gave me the cheery announcement about my poor odds of survival if I did nothing and the poor odds I had of taking chemo well with my current body strain, I went quiet for a few weeks.

Spoiler
I made a list of people I knew, and I made an effort to track them down to apologize for the hard times I may have given them when I was younger. Long story short, I remembered this one kid, who was a total asshole. Not somebody I wanted to apologize to, but since I was thinking off childhood acquaintences, I thought about him.

So, I tracked him down too. My original plan was to have a talk with him.

And after all those years, when I saw his face, and how much he hadn't changed, how much of an arrogant slimeball of a human being he was that showed on his expression, I did none of that. I guess that was where I broke.

He came walking up, and out of nowhere I grabbed his head and smashed it down hard against the side of my truck. I didn't even let him get up before I started kicking the shit out of him.

After that, I calmly explained why. And I told him if I ever saw him again, I'd do it again. I'm not one for violence. And I regreted it afterwards for days. Despite the fact that this guy was truly an asshole, I played the thing over in my head for days. It scared me how easy it was to do it. It's made me exceptionally cautious of my temper since then.

You should be in jail

Farmer disputes midget. People don't get too worked up when they have a scuffle out here. Most people actually tend to be rather generous when it comes to pressing charges. If it's just old fashioned farm folks slinging mud at each other nobody pays it much mind.

I remember one time, two fellows got into a scuffle on the street outside my restaurant. Once we broke them up and had them calmed down they both walked it off.
