welp, time to toss the hat in

Don't do it matey.

Honest to god believe me. If you were able to disgruntle half of this forum in your general direction then you're not going to last long over there. Like I said earlier. They're not horrible people. But if you don't agree with them to the letter on everything they say things can and eventually will get unpleasant.
I mean I was sorta joking but okay

Oh

GrifHostball in Halo 5

No seriously. How can Grifball in Halo 5 be biased towards the host, when the host of the game is a dedicated server?

Not like some IT asshat is sitting up in Microsoft's Azure Complex with an Xbox One spliced into one of Halo 5's servers and making sure he gets matched up with Nick most of the time.

If it was MCC, sure. The game did default back to peer-to-peer for almost every match, but Halo 5 literally has no peer-to-peer.

Dedicated servers don't mean a lot when you're across continents or past the region they're hosted in. So long as you remain on the north american side of the world the dedicated server is based in, you'll have almost no connection issues.

Extend the range to other continents and parts of the world?

Issues will exist.
I dunno, Halo 5 is basically the only game I can play without lag.
Plus I thought it matches you with people of the same region anyway

But you're the only human being in australia.

I worked a job from 8:00 to 6:00 that wasn't very activity intensive. 90% of the day was you sitting in a chair and watching the road for people coming in.

The head honcho had this little radio playing all day long on a country music channel.

It looped broadcasts three times. And played the same shit weekly.

I can almost recite this by memory.

YouTube

Please. Destroy the parts of my brain responsible for remembering this.

What I'd give to be able to wander like that.
You'd give up fresh memes?

Everything except for my still living body.
woah

Doesn't the prospect sound lovely though?

You own nothing. All you have is yourself and where your feet want to take you. You've got your eyes for all the sights on the long journey, you've got your head and your hands for being crafty. And whatever you can stuff into a pack.

And you just go.

No barriers, no limits, no responsabilities, nothing. Just you. Hitchhiking is almost true freedom. Unless you get mugged/killed.

I don't really want to type up all the words I'd have to say on the matter.

So I'm going to take a page from Bacon's book.

Multiplayer is canon.

That means pizza AR is canon.

And that means part of me is dead inside.

How can so many people give a shit about this

For the same reason a certain person who's name shall not be spoken apparently cared so much about being called a furry enough to leave several times over.

People's care agendas might not make sense, but they're there anyway.

Besides. You ever listen to the same tune over and over again and eventually grow tired of it? Roman's chock full of that, whether he's serious about the posting or not.
Point taken

Give me back my point you fucker.

I've got english. I'm incredibly rusty and only half versed in Quebec french. And over time I've learned very sparse Ukranian.

377
Not much different, actually.

People are so keen to make their opinion known that they're the superior lifeform with superior vision about what's best for everybody anyway. I've gone through my entire life being the outsider because of the things I enjoy, whether I chose to be up front about them, or hide them.

People gonna people, anyway. If the things I liked were all suddenly objectively shit then I'd carry on with my life. If somebody decided to give me hassle, well, based off the 100% shit things I enjoy, I could easily claim that I was objectively created to enjoy shit.

And therefore, no blame would fall on me.

So it's not balls to the wall amazing.

But it sounds like a solid "sit back on the couch and take it easy" kinda game.

I'm okay with that. Also, watch players overcome the distance and find ways to meet each other.

381
The question itself could roughly imply that I have to say and realize that I'm in a committed relationship in order to be in one. And that all other relationships are just...on the side.

Can I not simply be committed to giving my best and dedicating myself from the start? Be it with pals and friends, or people I'd like to know a little closer?

>modern medicine
Materialism sucks. Mortality means little when it comes to the actual greatness of an age. People in centuries past didn't complain about how terrible their medicine was. Ours is, in fact, a grand luxury.

When I say accomplishment, I mean accomplishment. As in, "humanity is better of now that we've done this."

Are you implying that humanity isn't fundamentally made better as a species for every grand slam dunk we make?

I happened to be trudging along in souls II the other day. And I gave something some thought.

In the Iron King DLC, we pay a visit to the now long dead heart of the Iron King's empire. In the big forge room below the throne, we see big statues in chains, along with their weapons hanging up. Some of them are used as lifts, but I can't help but question whether they were actually lifts or just in progress works.

We know that the IK had an unlimited supply of iron, and the ability to give life to his creations, hence Alonne Knights and the Smelter Demons. I can't help but wonder if those giant statues were actually unfinished soldiers.

The other thing that got me thinking was the connection to Heide's Ruins. Boasting the same soldiers.

But, something interesting to consider, Heide's Tower of Flame.

We know that eventually IK was possessed and completely overtaken by Gwyn's old soul. So I can't help but wonder if Heide is a mirror of what happened in the first Souls. Lordran went south, and a lot of the higher ranking members fled to found their own kingdom.

The Flood / Re: How to ruin a morning before school/work
« on: March 15, 2016, 12:17:00 PM »
I remember having highly condensed mornings.

I'd get homework and say fuck that shit, play videya gams at night and then go to sleep. Wake up with half an hour to go in the morning. Shut my alarm clock off and go back to sleep. Second alarm would go and then I'd roll out of bed onto the floor and slug my way towards something not my bed.

Juggle eating and homework in the span of 15 minutes while throwing stuff into my pack.

I always desperately wanted to murder my alarm clocks for ruining comfy warm time.

Meanwhile, the 60 year olds will still be laughing at you because you still really don't know shit.

Le ebin "my vote doesn't matter" may may.

:^)

As if your vote even counts
The Electorial College is shit

It actually, really, doesn't. Even if, let's say, out of the billion to one chances that a vote between two parties comes down to one party winning because of a single vote point over the other, the vote will legally have to be re-cast.

Your singular vote means nothing.
