He's only powerful when he has high ground.

Especially when he has the moral high ground.

Anakin killed shitty child actors.

Obi Wan didn't.

Who is the worse person?

Technically Obi-Wan cause he shoulda taught that little bitch better that killing was dammicky.
Anakin did the galaxy a service. Nobody likes Nemoidians and crappy younglings anyway.

Ya'll are still proving my point here.

Guess that means that Ob-Wan really did discover how to be truly immoral.

Obi Wan confirmed for true villain.

Okay. So, Mace Windex gave the Emporer a run for his money.

You think Obi-Wan could've beaten him?
Going by the Clone Wars cartoon, Mace was pretty fucking OP when fighting. Didn't see Obi Wan do much impressive stuff asides from beating Durge.

Dunno if Obi Wan could have beaten Palpatine but Mace could have maybe done it if Anakin didn't cockblock him. Palpatine was only playing helpless though I think. Could have blasted him if he wanted to.

Old palps was playing helpless to get Ani to his side though. He was actually probably fucked though since Mace knew how to redirect the lightening.

I still don't think Mace is dead. If Darth Maul getting cut in half and replaced with cybernerics after a fall down a reactor shaft is canon, then I'm pretty fucking sure that mace could survive a lost arm and being zapped out a window.

You didn't think he'd stick to such low level labor, did you? Construction is an exceptionally lucrative commercial enterprise. Add to that an indentured labor force without the necessary upkeep of more traditional group of workers, and he's make some serious money.

Looks like Bob is pushing into new frontiers to match the expansion of today's technology.

Before we know it, Bob will in fact, become the face of Skynet as the technological singularity becomes reality.

Carrying a gun does not make you safe. It makes you and everyone around you a target.

When the fuck are we going to ban concealed and open carry.

Well, seeing as there's a piece of paper that says "you can have all the guns," signed by some dead guy a few hundred years old at the moment, not anytime soon.

You haven't gotten your daily dosage of caffeine which means you're going to go through withdrawls.

Expect being platinum bitchy and getting hit with headaches that won't go down for about a period of a two weeks unless you cave and start drinking more coffee.

Some of the achievements in Halo 3. I fucking swear to god. Getting a double kill with one spartan laser shot in the lone wolves playlist. Or getting a splatter with the mongoose.

I don't even want to recall how many fucking times I spent trying for those. One morning I put my tryhard tighties on and went for the spartan laser one. With every match where I got the laser and killed one person but grazed another, I steadily grew more platinum mad.

But Reach took the cake though. The only reason I played it as long as I did, was because I had friends to play it with. Once I started playing it alone, the game pissed me off more and more because of how bullshit it was along with its ass of a community.

One day I took the disk out of my drive, opened up a window, and chucked it out like a frisbee. And that was that.

How the fuck does concealed carry stymie discussion? The point of it is you don't know they have it.

That's sort of the point. You don't know who's going to have a gun, but you know that somebody will.
Congratulations, you've just explained how concealed carry discourages assault in a setting where it is popular.

How this discourages discussion I don't see. It's a campus- too few people even believe gun ownership should be allowed for carry to be a common thing.

No heated discussion in a classroom is going to lead to violence. The suggestion that concealed carry somehow leads to some kind of universal intimidation and silencing is silly as hell. It takes some serious straw-grasping to get there.

Most likely, I can agree. Nothing much will happen of it. And it might help in future issues.

But, I don't trust people. Never trust them when it comes to a human being having to use sound judgement that could impact your life. Because people more often than not, don't use sound judgement. Especially with a gun.

Then again, I live in a country that doesn't have its screws so loose about guns and their usage. Nor does it as readily have dysfunctional people aiming down their sights at other people.

So I'm just going to sit back and watch the fireworks if there's any.

He was faring fairly well against Vader on the Death Star, so you can assume that he was at least as strong as Luke was during Return of the Jedi.

Well, not to mention that he handed Vader's ass to him at his peak strength, too.

I've got a decent amount of faith though. As far as things go, B-Team still did good work. They only really had a few hitch ups here and there and if they don't make the same mistake this time around then they'll do fine.

Their head honcho of the team knows what he's doing and I figure he'll make all the right calls. It's a shame though, honestly. I get the feeling the Dark Souls 3(really doesn't roll off the tongue there, should call it quits for the series after that) is going to be what Dark Souls II should have really been.

And, you know what's even better? I use both illusionary rings on my greatswords so people don't see them. As soon as people see that you have a heavy weapon out in Souls II it's a death sentence for you because then they just play as a conservative rapier shield turtler.

Let me make this clear. I'm going to go into the math on this.

99 str standard dual greatswords at 10+, buffed with 50 extra attack damage from RoB+2 and the additional but slightly decreased of Flynn's ring means that my swords do 740 damage each.

Some times I swap to the stone ring to gain that additional 15 poise damage which becomes 30 when multiplied by two.

Mulitiplied by power stancing them so that both of their poise damage is stacked along with their damage when I hit somebody, means that I should absolutely demolish anybody poise wise and health wise when they take a hit from me.

And I still can't win a trade with a singular rapier.

I've collectively no-lifed Dark Souls II dude. Those two illusionary rings I have are a statement to that. I know this game's mechanics inside and out.

And you can not feasibly tell me that buffs did not ruin pvp.

Hopefully Dark Souls 3 won't be Buff Souls 3 though because buffs killed PvP in DS2, along with soul memory.
Not really it just added strategic depth, suddenly some weapons weren't objectively worse than others because they were arbitrarily given less stats, buff meta allows your choice of weapon to involve a lot more about the weapon's moveset.

People look at DS1 PvP with so much bias, poise was such a massive barrier to entry for builds that you only saw two or three builds.

but yeah soul memory is what the fuck tier design
Buffs made the weapon go to max damage, regardless of your build or how much you put into the said skill tree. It'd be fine if they were rare but everyone was using them because they were so easy to get.

It helped ruin builds and PvP.
It helped vary damage types and encourage putting thought into elemental resistances, and since it allowed a ton of weapons to finally see play, it ultimately fosters more build diversity so you're not playing against Giant Dads every invade. With the myriad of new weapons being played, it made you have to adapt and play around more weapon's skillsets, which ultimately makes PvP more thoughtful and meaningful rather than, "oh i stacked enough poise so now I win any trade regardless of playstyle or build"

You're literally forgetting how buffs made speed weapons king. Heavy weapons, short range weapons, lower ended weapons, they were all garbage and thrown out the window for speed.

Literally all I see anymore are fucking crystal magic buffed rapiers that ignore the concept of physical damage protection because it's a piercing weapon combined with magic which fucks armour up even more.

How about LOLpoise? Rapiers have the range of a football field and when buffed can stunlock full havels, ring of giants, and an iron flesh buffed character who has all three going for them.

Yeah, poise being broken allowed fun builds like fisti cuffs builds to actually be viable.

But fucking buffs destroyed any fun to be had when some dickwad does 3 pokes to you and you're dead.
The only reasons Rapiers are an issue are their retarded ghost range combined with the game's bad connectivity.

They aren't king. I played shirtless double giant clubs and maintained 50/50. It's just about seeing windows and not extending because hurr durr i have big weapon im invinsibleh

The only window I've ever seen with a rapier is this.

>Swing your weapon and get LOLpoised out of your swing while taking massive critical counter damage.

I use 99 str dual wield greatswords with flynns ring and ring of blades +2, and with all of that power I can only four shot people. Rapiers don't even give you a fucking chance anymore. You make ONE mistake and you're stunlocked dead. Sometimes you don't even have to make a mistake because the connection will do it for you.

What kind of fucking sense is that where dual wield geatswords taken to the utter maximum possible limit of damage can only four shot people, 3 if they're naked, while a single rapier can three shot you in the span of 2 seconds?

And I haven't even started talking about the Ice rapier yet.
