I read through all the recent posts and this stuck out quite a bit.
Is there any reason why people seem to think the quality of a forum is directly proportional to its activity? At least, that's how this sentence came across because supposedly drama = shit posting. News flash: every forum has drama and if anyone tries to say that isn't true about X forum they simply never saw it when it was more apparent, or it hasn't happened yet.
As of now, there isn't much drama because, by the looks of it, there appears to be a lack of activity for the most part. I'll have you know that Halo Archive has no drama whatsoever since they have a no tolerance policy for it. And other things. Like being an individual with separate thoughts from the machine. And fun.

If your brain is having issues of that caliber then simply telling it to stop doesn't just cut it. It eats away at people. Like depression, emotional trauma, addictions, you name it.
And like depression, or emotional trauma, or addictions, there's measures that can be taken to help people overcome their problems.
So if you have a solution that shows itself as being a method of treatment, then why not use said solution? It's there. It helps. So why throw it away?
Well, I've ran out of material to debate this, Can't think of anything else at the moment, so consider this a temporary victory.

No seriously. How can Grifball in Halo 5 be biased towards the host, when the host of the game is a dedicated server?
Not like some IT asshat is sitting up in Microsoft's Azure Complex with an Xbox One spliced into one of Halo 5's servers and making sure he gets matched up with Nick most of the time.
If it was MCC, sure. The game did default back to peer-to-peer for almost every match, but Halo 5 literally has no peer-to-peer.
Dedicated servers don't mean a lot when you're across continents or past the region they're hosted in. So long as you remain on the north american side of the world the dedicated server is based in, you'll have almost no connection issues.

I've actually got a little notion regarding this place. I see this place a lot like a waiting room. People all waiting to go somewhere. And, like a waiting room, sometimes you'll meet people you get along with, and sometimes you won't. But, eventually, everybody in the waiting room leaves. And I think as folks get older, as life or death or whatever catches up with them, they'll start to stop posting. There's a time for everybody. And eventually, common faces you see here won't be around as they leave and move on. Some sooner, some later.

If I remember right, Forerunners were advanced enough that they didn't have kids in the "traditional" sense. There was a scene in the last forerunner novel were Librarian didn't give a fuck that some primitive forerunners were copping a feel of her out of her suit because there wasn't really anything there in the first place. Forerunners made thier kids MoS Krypton style.
