Building my house and making the thing capable of running off the grid.
Pulling off a camnator?

Na. I just don't like the idea of potentially leaving my life in the hands of my province's less than reputable tendancy to have power outages. One of those in the winter could kill you. Plus, I won't have to pay any electricity bills.

I just like to tinker is all. Imagining what I could do with my own house is fun. And it'd be mine from the ground up. Not many people these days can say that they built their entire house by themselves.

So....yes? I like fucking the system whenever I can? Just a little bit....

I emptied a garbage truck, and then promptly packed the empty garbage truck up with firewood. 5 foot high, 5 foot wide hardwood slabs. Heaviest fucking things I've ever had to carry. I dropped a few on my feet while I was unloading them and got my hand crushed when one slab slipped down a pile. Gonna sting in the morning.

Pretty much the highlight of the day.

How're you doing? Need stitches for anything or is it just a nasty fall and bruise sort of deal?

3124
Well to be honest that does sound a little gay. I would have expected a little more camera time with Blue Team.

They couldn't have added, what, just even two more missions?

To be honest though, I wouldn't be surprised if theyre going to use that void to write a book/comic set during the time frame so we know more about what Chief and Friends got up to.

I remember fighting Artorias in Dark Souls on a low level character.

The most damage I could hit on him was 68 per shot. I literally had to pull a flawless fight taking no hits from him.

I wittled him down to about two hits left on his healthbar and my fucking controller died on me.

Good job Jive. Now you're selling your brand in style!

Fall makes me feel like absolute shit. I can enjoy all the colours and all that. But it gets me down for some reason.

Oh ya. A word of advice Verb. If you ever come across a weapon that looks like any old weapon but it has a strange name, you've discovered a legendary weapon.

Most legendary weapons out-damage their default counterparts and pack a punch. Very rarely, they might not, but they'll have a special unique trait to them that might make up for it.

Another word of advice. You can sell them. Make sure you don't sell them accidentally because you'll probably like their stopping power.

And lastly, you can repair legendary weapons with their common counterparts. And VICE VERSA. So be careful if you decide to repair a normal weapon and end up destroying the legendary one.

Ok, so there's the three tutorial quests you do in Vault 101:

Baby Steps
Growing Up Fast
Future Imperfect

And then there's not actually all that many main quests:

Escape!
Following in his Footsteps
Galaxy News Radio
Scientific Pursuits
Tranquility Lane
The Waters of Life
Picking up the Trail
Rescue from Paradise
Finding the Garden of Eden
The American Dream
Take it Back!
Oh, wow. Surprising.

Thank you!

What parts of the game are you anticipating completing?
Are you playing the dlc too?
I want my shotgun. Also, whenever I get to have that suit they keep teasing. The one that's on the cover.

I dunno what the DLC is. I'm playing the GOTY edition, so I guess I have it all.

I hope you find the legendary shotgun.

Also, New Vegas increased my love of shotguns tenfold because of how many types there were.

The Diary of Jive sounds gay though.

Let's merge Jive and Diary together.

Dear Jivary.

There. Now you sound egotistical and ready to sell your brand.

YEAH... The gunplay is pretty awful... I end up just using the baseball bat.

Fallout 3 can support melee builds.

Just sayin.

Ya don't have to be no quickdraw sharpshooter.

Yeah, I was just about to say--there's, like, no way not to make it look... inhuman. lol

It's in standard fashion to make your characters in betheseda games look inhuman anyway.

I'm just gonna pray that Verb finds a particular building in the game that happens to start with a D and ends with "wich."

All of you should know what I'm talking about.

I just got home from work. I accomplished lots today. I filled up two small dump trucks worth of shit to haul.

Tired. Would like some coffee and food.

Gotta call dad.

Gotta call medical clinic.

Gotta call a dude to see if I have the job tomorrow.

And that's about it for now.

The Flood / Re: Why don't you lift weights?
« on: October 16, 2015, 02:15:48 PM »
But hey, I know I'm set where it counts. I don't look all purdy and spiffy. But that many hours a day on my feet, doing manual labor keeps me in shape. It's also what got me back onto my feet this year.

I started the year off in poor health. Underweight, poor strength, shit lungs and heart. All the running around this year has me back in as much peak health as I can manage.

That's also why I don't lift weights, to be frank. I can lift 40 pounds over my own body weight now. I weigh 220. No denying that I can't do my part anymore.

For some reason I like the idea of an open world exploring/traveling 2d game. Toss in rpg and leveling elements. NPC Co-op pals maybe. Base building.

Basically, I'm just saying I'd love Dark Souls if it were a 2d open world side scroller.

For starters, the nearest gym is probably a few hundred miles away in the city.

Second, I don't have the time to kill on a hobby like that.

And third, I'm not in the business of casual fucking.

Weightlifting is fine and all, because at least it keeps you healthy. And, you do get the bonus of being attractive. But I've always sort of viewed it as a time waster. It's a city folk thing that people do when they have literally nothing else to do.
It takes only two hours out of the day, at most. I usually stay for an hour and a half. Most people sit around doing nothing for way more time than that. Plus I go to school and I work. Not having enough time is just an excuse.

K den.

See if you can manage it when you work from 6 in the morning to 12 at night.
That's a very unusual shift.

That's not a shift mate. It's how my day goes.

6:00 to 1:00 in the afternoon is working the restaurant.
1:00 to 8:00 at night is my secondary small jobs ranging from anything I can find. Usually manual labor of some kind.
8:00 to 12:00 is helping the restaurant at night. We close at 10 but two ours of prep for the next day is needed.

I don't have two hours to kill in one shot. Only minutes. It's like this seven days a week non stop, no breaks.

I ain't got time to kill.

Man the harpoons lads.

3146
I think it's funny how you have Pablo Escobar as your avatar and yet you're here praising governments and acting as if poverty is practically a thing of a long forgotten past.

Yes. There may be less people literally starving to death. But the majority of people in Africa don't have access to electricity. And even in America, there are still a shit ton of people that are poor.

That man in your picture is a direct result of this system we live in. A system that keeps our heads just above water in 1st world countries and has people dying in infancy in most other countries.

But you don't care, and none of you here have experienced that desperation so you just read a few articles on your computer in your house telling you everything is going to be ok and you believe it.

I always liked to think of it as walking a tightrope over treading water.

Our wonderful system both trying to balance itself and hope that the rope doesn't snap anytime soon.

Man, I remember when this game was years out, and getting fooled by the survivor 2299 hoax. And now it has less than a year away. It's been the only real game I have been hyped for in years. And it comes out in less than a month :')

This gif caused me to both laugh and die inside simultaneously.

Holy shit I remember that spot.
