We know that Chief is probably and most likely the only one getting those visions and warnings about the Guardians becoming active. The rest of Blue are there with him because they trust him absolutely. So, what if John ends up abandoning them for something? Up until this point, Blue Team pretty much meant Kelly, Linda, and Fred, until Chief came back into the picture. The vague description could only actually be counting Kelly, Linda and Fred.
I doubt John would abandon them for anything, even if he was getting "visions" telling him to go to places or do things. But it's probably likely that he might have led them into serious danger.

Spoiler I'm curious as to what kind of danger. We've already seen a glimpse of a scene where Blue meets Warden Eternal. And they all lower their guns. It's hard to tell if John is trying to stop the Guardians from waking or actively working with them.
It's important to note colour schemes in Forerunners now. The Guardians are constructs, no doubt. And we know that usually when a Forerunner takes control of a construct, their colour changes to show allegiance. The Promethians under Librarian's control were blue. When Didact regained control, they switched.
In the scene with the Warden, the Guardian's notable spots of colour are still blue despite Warden being a military construct or servant of Didact.
Hard to tell who's a pal and who's not at this point.

So? I don't see the problem with that.
Not everyone will. My problem is that for (however many books and games have been released so far that my lazy ass doesn't want to count), we have been told that they are the best of the best. And now, we're being told (allegedly) this new team is apparently better, since they have to finish off the enemy that the originals cannot.
It's clear that 343 wants their team (While the original team is Bungie's) to have a stronger role, and most likely take the lead in future games. That's fine, but until I see how they are storywise, I reserve judgements that I dislike it.
(Trying to keep this as vague as possible in case Bacon stumbles in)
Spoiler That's sort of what I was thinking. What sort of issue would Blue run into that they couldn't handle that Osiris suddenly could? Unless, it's just a case of numbers adding up to help even the odds.

Not really. It can get a little tight in spots. But I've yet to meet anything that I couldn't get if I wanted it. It just takes a little bit of time and careful managment.
If I really needed more, I'd go out and get it. That simple. I'm just never a fan of when extra surprise expenses show up out of the blue. I prefer making money to use it on something fun over something that's a neccessity.
Then just don't do almost all of your work for free.
That's just dumb.
Most of the people I help or work for are as poor, or poorer than me. Rather than money, we trade favors. It's really handy to have a mechanic you're on good terms with who will work on your vehicle, essentially for free, so long as you show up to help cut firewood every few days. Work is my personal currency. Say what you will, but it works. I have a lot of people who owe me favors and are happy to pay them back because I'm a good worker.

But for some reason it just makes me feel like shit. Probably because cute stuff is innocent and we live in a world that's far from it.

I just don't like a lot of romantic cutesy stuff. I've resented it from a young age and I have no idea where it originates.
Interacting with children makes me feel like shit because I empathize with them.
Which again could be the same thing I mentioned. There's something about cutsey things or innocent things that make me deeply sad. Like you said, kids are another. For me it's the fact that I know it's not going to last for them. That particular happiness to see everything new, experiencing everything for the first time, and that little bubble they exist in, the world is going to crush it. People are going to step on them eventually and destroy that little world and those feelings. And no matter how hard you try as a guardian to protect them, you can't shield them from it forever. Of course, the thing posted up above just gets me down because I don't have anybody to give my care to like that.
