Theres about 7 females on this site iirc, but I don't think any of them would be interested since they're probably all smart enough not to have an online relationship.

Holy shit lol talk about breaking out the big guns. Damn.

3003
So do you want me to reply or are you just completely uninterested?

I gave my particular opinions on the subject matter. But, I'm not going to be very interested in changing them. I might read through what you have to say. But, no bets.

3004
I hope you don't mind if I quote you multiple times. It's the easiest way to counter specific arguments.

I need to get a laptop so I don't have to reply on my phone lol

I'm in classes right now, I should be able to respond around 5 tonight.

If you press the quote and reply buttons, we're all going to die. My posts were not designed and built to handle that kind of strain.

I'll have to stop you.

I think the best way to prevent licensed games from sucking is to stop making licensed games.

Or they could always hire compentant people and devs. And stop rushing their shit.

Because it costs like $200,000 for 4 minutes of speaking time or something and the smaller parties can't afford that.

That's what I've read, at least.

"It cost 400,000 dollars to present my platform. For 12 seconds."

What, you mean like Terminator Salvation: The Game?

More like Battlefield or SWBF.

Too fast paced.

I'd like a terminator game to be decently grounded in the lore. The machines don't go down easily. But, I have thought about it before.

You know what would be really nice? A free roam open world Terminator game with RPG elements. I guess a lot like fallout. The thing that always leaves me sort of jaded about the series is how you're never exposed to the post apocalypse world. You only see it in glimpses.

And you end up with all these machines coming from various stages in Skynet's evolution that only makes me want to see the whole thing play out in full.

Actually, a metro sytle one would be cool too.

Terminator has so much to it that could be used to make a difficult, engaging, survival based game. Fucking nobody has ever done it right yet.

One last thing. I misphrased population expansion. A somewhat high population isn't bad. But what's bad is when they cluster. It's been scientifically proven, that human being's IQ levels go down, based on the larger concentration of people. Their cognitive reasoning and problem solving ability plummets.

And, for some effect, you can se this in mob mentality. The phrase, "Two heads are better than one" is very real. I think humans work at their absolute best alone, or in small close knit groups. But the more people you crowd into a space, the more messy it becomes.

And Canada did something right in it's early days. Keep in mind, it's just my opinion. We used to operate like a webbed network. Towns. In my province, there are hundreds of them. A lot of them gone now, obviously.

It was a network of small, close knit communities, which was something good. The clustering of the population into the cities is a bad thing. It's like that old paradise test a scientist did with rats that were supplied everything. Their population exploded, condensed, and then collapsed, every time. I highly doubt that we're immune to that effect as a species.

I'll say it with a sense of humor. We're a little bit like cancer. In small little clusters here or there, we're not really an issue. But condensed and expanding? Trouble.

But, these are all my opinions anyway. They might mean something, or nothing. Either way, I will never be in a position of power to dictate them. And I'm fine with that.

The world is going to do it's thing. And I'll do mine in relative peace and quiet.

I never got the MIRV. I got bored with Fallout 3 before I got most of the later weapons.

Why fire one nuke when you can fire 8?

Because you only need one to kill 99% of everything in the game?

Fawkes can take a MIRV round and walk out of it slightly unscathed.

But your point.

Fiery overkill from what's essentially a shotgun nuke launcher is the best kind of overkill. If there's one enemy you want to say an extra round of "fuck you too buddy," the MIRV is the gun for the job.

But there's lots of reaver ghouls in point lookout!

Contrary to popular belief, Ghouls still take damage from Fat Man nukes.

The nuke itself still produces an explosion that's the primary source of damage, with the lingering radiation being secondary and completely useless on NPCs because they aren't affected by your hostile radiation emitions.

I was more meaning how you get maybe 3 shots out of the MIRV due to it's rare ammunition

Seriously? I had a collection of 200 something nukes saved up. And shopkeepers who supplied more. I'm not joking when I'm saying that one time, I opened up a random box and said, "Oh, another nuke. Neat I guess."

They're still the rarest ammo type in the game (Alien ammo not included). Having 200 mini nukes versus 5,000 5mm rounds isn't a lot. Especially when your gun shoots 8 ammo/shot

TFW I did the operation anchorage ammo glitch.

Lol. I remember now. I had a fuck ton more than 200 nukes. Besides. MIRV and fatman wasn't a common usage weapon. Just one for when the chips were down and you wanted to say fuck you.

Or to aim at your feet and see if your body hits low orbit

One time, I decided to see if I could kills Fawkes with the MIRV.

I ran out of nukes.

^^^ It's a long post, I know. I don't like how as time goes on my conversations become longer and longer. So I'll give you some shortcuts to the first one here.

My second point about the refugees abandoning their country. You want proof that we owe them nothing? To not bother with thinking about if the circumstances were switched?

Look at what their people are doing. All of them, running. From a country that they let fall themselves. You hear reports about them storming barriers and country limits forcefully, to get away. So, no, if the circumstances were switched, they wouldn't be helping us. And I would say that people fleeing from our country were doing the wrong thing.

Do you know effective an entire population of people resisting in singular, lone instances everywhere can be? Guerilla warfare. Two man sniper teams. These are both incredibly effective methods of warfare to resist an enemy. An entire country scattered, but fighting, is a tough son of a bitch to beat.

My third point, about refugees and import people. That's an easy fix. Equalize things. if they can climb the ladder so easily, then canadian citizens should have such leeway as well.

And the one I forgot. Population.

We don't need to be like the states, man. We don't need a population explosion and overcrowd, complete with overoconsumption. I mean, would it really be so hard to ask canadian citizens to do a little more fucking if population was an issue?

But mainly, I disagree with large populations. We should be trying to avoid large populations, not encouraging them.

There's really not much I can say that I haven't already to your position of voting. I'm an advocate for change, you don't believe there is any way to achieve that.

As for the refugees,  I disagree. These people are living in hell and it is our obligation as a country to help in any capacity. Think if the roles were reversed. Not only that, but logistically speaking, Canada needs to bring in, at least, 200K immigrants every year to combat population decline and sustain the economy. We would literally implode without them.

Here's the thing about those countries. I'm not soulless. And I can agree that what's happening is terrible. But there's two little hitches. Three, actually.

The first being, infiltrators and sleeper agents. You're honestly not telling me that some fucking asshole faction over in that country isn't going to capitalize on boatloads of immigrants to send some of their own into new territory? And you can't screen for that shit.

Second. If the roles where reversed? They wouldn't give a shit. And I wouldn't expect them to. You might call this view harsh, but those people, let their own damn country go without a fight. How many of them are fleeing? How many millions of them are running away when they could all instead, fight?

I understand that yes, there's women and children in those refugee batches. I understand that fear is powerful. But they're being completely senseless about their situation. If they banded together and they fought for their country, tooth and nail like a cornered animal, then I'd have a little more sympathy. They let their government do what it did. So why can't they fucking clean their mess up or at least, fight harder?

This is eerie, I know, what with my defeatist notions on governments. But if it were me, and my country was being invaded by an outside force, I would not run. I would send those I care for away. And then I'd go off on my own to fight.

And third. Canada's refugee/intergration stance is ridiculous. Because what happens when you bring in new people from another country? Bonuses and help programs. Things that help them set up a life here.

And the real irony is, there's so many help programs and stimulus packages for new people, that they can shoot up the ladder on a fast track to a decent, easy life, faster than a native canadian citizen could. And that's not fair.

It also strikes me as odd that you claim to care very little for politics yet have actively engaged in discussion with me twice in the last week regarding them.

But that's none of my business.

I prefer to listen and keep up on events. Discussion is a means to an end. I may not care about much but I'm not some tehnologically backwards hermit hiding down a hole. It's important to listen and look as to where the world is headed.

As for my defeatist attitude, what can I say? I'm not capable of changing anything. Nor do I have the means or the answers to, either. Nor do I trust in the limited, clouded vision of a politician who is all too keen to place a political label on themselves and shunt their options into a corner.

I didn't vote this election, nor any of the previous ones, because one vote doesn't mean anything. It only ever means something when you lose by one. In which case I adamantly told everybody around me that if their next great saviour lost by one, the entire country would know who to blame.

The refugee issue, for instance. Letting them in is going to be a mistake.

Nothing they could ever do would count as phenominal to me. I think our society is a little bit archaic. It's values, it's focuses, it's direction. And, politicians are a part of that mangled up webwork that people have the audacity to call a functioning system. They'll never do anything phenominal because they're a part of a sub-par system. They can only focus and see within the confines of what our current system is.

They can flex the edges around a little bit and shake things up, but ultimately, they'll never take any truly brave steps.

If you're going to ask me that if I have such a low opinion of our system, then what would be our game plan be if it were me in charge? I don't have an answer to that. Our system is the best we can currently do. It plays to human nature, and plain and simple, most human nature is shit.

So, really, when it comes to politics, I don't care. It's always going to be the same thing. It's not in my interests or business to put any emphasis on what a man several thousand kilometers away is going to write down on a piece of paper in his office.

If gregorian chanting is your thing, then obviously men are going to be better suited for it.

Probably the ladies.

But they can't hit the strange notes and tones like an icelandic man can. Or an indian man.

Actually, it depends on who the fuck is singing. Western music isn't the only kind of vocalization out there.

Get the Fatman launcher, and then spend the rest of the game not using it because nukes are too rare to waste.

You're doing it wrong because you're not using the MIRV.
