I'm just a love machine
And I won't work for nobody but you, I'm just a love machine, A huggin', kissin' friend. I think it's high time you knew, Whenever I think of you, My mind blows a fuse. When I look in you eyes, My meter starts to rise, and I become confused. My voltage regulator cools, When I'm sitting next to you, Electricity starts to flow, And my indicator starts to glow - wooo 2796

Long time ago, yeah.
I always hated how you couldn't actually play the small nimble classes outside of multiplayer. The campaign bots practically require you to be a tank so you can have some hope of completing objectives. I mean, I played it when the MP was still active and it managed to be fun. But that game is the shining achievement and definition of "could have been so much more." Somebody needs to take a second shot at that game and do it right. 2797

Gaming / Re: Halo 5 Story Spoilers (With Images)« on: October 29, 2015, 01:11:10 PM »So I'm on the second to last mission Is it just me, or am I the only one put off by 343's need to add depth to everything? I get that adding depth to things is nice. But to me it just seems like a giant tangled ball of yarn at this point. There's so much shit to focus on that it becomes convuluted and...boring. And it's not just depth in general. Everything they add for some reason seems like it has to require some explanation which after a while, starts to get old. Or in some cases, it seems like they're so focused on everything else that they drop the ball in other places and make jarring as fuck transitions. 2800
Gaming / Re: Halo 5 Story Spoilers (With Images)« on: October 29, 2015, 12:59:24 PM »Also, I hope another lore master can answer this. During The Breaking, The Warden says humanity was never supposed to reclaim the Mantle, and that the Librarian always wanted humanity's created to inherit it instead. What the actual fuck? So whenever Spark was calling Chief a Reclaimer he meant Cortana? Can't be...so that cutscene from Halo 4 w/librarian meant nothing? What's her plan? "You are the culmination of a thousand lifetimes of planning..." Why would she want Cortana to do what she's doing? Lets just make the Librarian a villain now too huh 343i? Gee it's like The Warden was a different Forerunner with his own opinions and viewpoints. And a military construct at that. Kind of like how Didact believes humanity to be the biggest threat and problem, with the Forerunners claiming ownership of the Mantle, while Librarian believed otherwise and renounced the Mantle, in the end. It's totally not like the Warden could just say what he believes is right. 2801

Apathetic, unfulfilled, disenfranchised and alienated sums up 90% of me and my life, and yet caring, empathetic, and engaged are things I actively try to project or give to people.
I'm not angry. Just tired. But being tired doesn't mean I can't give decent things to people or others. I've got more care pulling me along than anger that faded years ago, and more caring, enough to give me a push past my own tiredness if I need it too. Caring about the state of others is the only thing I've got, really. 2804

Gaming / Re: Halo 5 Story Spoilers (With Images)« on: October 28, 2015, 05:04:59 PM »Something I need a lore expert to explain, which I still haven't found an answer for online. How is the Domain still functioning? It should have been destroyed with the Halos, as described in Silentium. Unless they reconnected that. Which means that the Didact going insane inside his Cryptum would also not be true...arghh. So many plot holes...I want it to make sense. My best guess is this. And I remember a little bit from the novels. At the end of the Forerunner-Flood war, the Domain no longer responded to the Forerunners or granted them access. This was before the Halos fired. The Domain is a sentient living thing, essentially. It's Precursor tech that basically overlaps reality in another layer of space. It's just pure information. So, my best guess is this. The Domain was wiped out in the Milky Way when the Halos fired. But it's a living thing, and only a small part of a whole. There's other galaxies out there with Precursor tech. So, I figure, that over time, that wound in the Domain healed itself. It was like a gunshot through a sheet of fabric. Sure, there was a hole in the cloth, but if the fabric is living, it repaired itself. And I imagine that the Domain's resistance to letting Forerunners access still remained once it healed. Cue Cortana in Halo 4 partially accessing it, and then, at some point, at the end of 4, coming into full contact with it and finding the source that the Forerunners once used to access it. That's my best guess. 2815

This isn't really news considering that Toronto is largely acknowledged as the gateway city to America. Incidentally, Toronto is probably one of the shittiest cities in Canada. Stop infecting us you fat fucks down south.
It's not really news though. Quebec is the heart of the mafia families in Canada, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Gang wars aren't exactly new and exciting news. Hell, even Saskatchewan has the Hell's Angel's. 2816

Gaming / Re: Halo 5 Story Spoilers (With Images)« on: October 28, 2015, 01:21:20 AM »So yeah, for those of you who haven't beaten it on legendary. And everybody just forgets that Halos are research installations with Flood specimens in containment. The Flood is essentially the organic version of the singularity. And the Domain wasn't built by the Forerunners. It's a living thing that was built by the Precursors. Pretty sure Cortana's going to use the Flood as intended to try and merge everything together into forced peace. 2820
