What's something specific you regret not doing?
I really regret never putting in more of an effort to search for somebody. There was a childhood friend of mine, who I was really, really close with. Me and her were best buds. And it was different from what you see of most childhood friendships. I mean you tell people that you were really good friends with somebody when you were young, and they're just gonna nod their head and roll their eyes. A lot like teenage romance I guess. But anyway, I moved across provinces when I was younger. And I never got to say goodbye. And I always, always wanted to go back and find her. Even if I knew that over the years, she'd be a completely different person, that sort instinct and want has always stayed. So a few years back, I paid a visit to my birth province, and I did some backtracking to the school I went to. I tried to find in records and stuff but I had no luck. And I think I should have pressed it a bit more before I had to go back home. I'm always going to regret not finding her.
