Just....opt out of that one there matey. You're not walking down a road that leaves you with a lot of potential for anything decent to happen. Something decent could, of course. But the odds are against you.
From your description of her, personally, I get bad vibes. This is somebody you'd probably invest yourself in only to have things go wrong. If she's into the whole dating thing, and currently doing that while she's over there, while talking to you about the whole shebang you just listed up above, then personally, I wouldn't trust it.
She isn't a bad person, really. A little immature and overzealous yes but good.
Well, I'll tell you what slick. All the people I've ever had falling out's with weren't bad people. Just because you have a fallout with somebody doesn't mean they're the spawn of satan. There can be good folks out there that you just aren't compatable with. Like I said. This has trouble written all over it. Not because you're gonna fly over there and she's gonna steal your kidney or something. But because her personality seems too unpredictable from your descriptions. You'd end up flying over there, really meeting each other for the first time, and then going home dissappointed, in almost all cases and scenarios. Take my word for it on this. Opt out. Or, give it some more years before you make the jump. Both of you still need time to grow up.

*Finally* picked up shadow of intent after oh, just a week of waiting for it to become available - and even then, I had to download the kindle app because it still doesn't show up on iBooks or Google Play. The same shit happened with New Blood and Saint's Testimony, how can the marketing or sales or whoever is in charge of publishing the books fuck up three times in a row? It's honestly ridiculous. I fucking hate these digital-only novels, and I really hope the print edition of New Blood has the other two novellas in it. A mini Halo Evolutions kind of thing.
That said, I've read the first couple chapters and I'm yet to find anything to dislike. I'm getting a lot of Broken Circle vibes, not just because of the focus on Sangheili and San 'Shyuum. The writing style is too similar and I love it. I wish we could have got Staten working on a full novel...
Fuck the novels mane. We need this great story content in the games.

Funny you should mention that. Friend of mine had the same reaction. Just told me about it five minutes ago.

Ghost rush in warzone assault is best rush. Got a whole group of people along with LoA and we had half the team run in with ghosts. Won every time.
You know what I want to see one day? An entire team of people driving phaetons.

I use nothing but needlers and suppressors in Galo 5.
And my ultra-ghosts >.>
On my own I tend to use them. Speaking of, I've got all three types of needlers now.
The last one apparently has armour piercing qualities in the description. Which either means it can fuck vehicles, or, my best guess, is explode into little explosive micro shrapnel bits in an aoe kind of way.
Gonne try it out at some point.
So...
You looking forward to the Needle Ridle-Carbine-thing being introduced in January?
If it homes in on people and does all the work for me than yes.

Hey, asshole, wake the fuck up.
You made a thread not a fucking month back about getting laid and then getting dumped over it. 90% of the community showed up and gave you some sound advice. You remember that? No? Let me refresh your memory then.
Drop chasing women. NOW. GET YOUR FUCKING LIFE ON TRACK BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW.
And you know damn FUCKING well how this is going to end if you chase after yet another lost cause. That's my advice. How do you get that girl back?
YOU FUCKING DON'T. GET OFF YOUR ASS AND FIX YOURSELF UP FIRST.
I hope I never piss you off.
Roman's bein' a fucking goof. Tired of this shit. Like a broken fucking record. And he's being doing it all god damn year. And you'd think that maybe the last time this shit happened it'd be a fucking wake up call when half the forum tried to tell him to clean his act up after he dragged himself over here yet again to mope and bitch. Then he up and mentions this fucking shit like the last 500 times didn't even happen. And he's just fuckin' shootin himself in the foot at this point. It's ridiculous. And if he doesn't listen he's just gonna come back here and whine and bitch and wonder why he landed in the same god damn square he has for the last hundred or so failures. Enough is enough. Maybe I'm being hypocritical because I bitch and shoot myself in the foot once in a while too, but for fuck's sake, if somebody tells me and shows me, I'll listen and make a genuine effort to change things. He just keeps coming here and getting people's advice over and over, and always throwing it in the garbage instead of actually fucking doing something about it. If he's gonna waste people's time who actually take the time to try and give him advice, and play forum goofball to the other half, then I apologize, but I'm not gonna have any nice words to say to him from now on. There's a point, where you sit the fuck down and take things seriously. After that, there's no excuse for shit like this.

Have sex with it.
That way it'll have to follow itself.
I thought that too, but....
Now I would say having sex with the creature would be genius, because then it would kill itself hypothetically. But if you have sex with it (technically it raped somebody in the movie) then you die.
You know how some people have a strangulation fetish or verge of death fetish? Wouldn't hurt to try that one out with the creature. Ya'll are gonna die so why not make it interesting? Ultimate fuck you to the creature. Then it's stuck following itself for eternity while you had the last gasp.

Damn, forge sounds pretty damn good.
*looks and sounds
Can't watch because in class. Anything more I should know than what was described by 343 in that link?
Revised magnet tool. Object welding. You can basically make two objects a new single object. Scripting. Weather effects Fog Can change the terrain. Such as change it to a snow theme. You don't have to sit through a loading screen to render the dynamic lighting. Copy/paste entire grouped sections. Such as a base you just made, for example. Natural objects such as grass will take on the texture of the base map terrain underneath so it blends in naturally.
Just to name a few.
Damn, sounds good. Especially the texture stuff and grouping.
The pain of making detailed symmetrical maps is gone forever
Group>copy>paste>done
Just like all those beautiful warzone bases.

And think about it. If every house was independantly powered, that would almost completely remove the issue of blackouts and brownouts and power outages because every house is a separate power system.
And here's another excuse that people like to bring up. Putting that many solar panels and bits and pieces on a large population of houses is going to take time and work. It's a big job. People would probably say, "It's not feasible to try and put solar panels and energy independant systems on a million houses." Guess what genius, how'd those million houses get there in the first place? They were all built independently, one by one.
There actually is, really, no feasible reason why the fuck this couldn't be done. It would certainly kickstart the solar panel industry. The battery industry sure would pick up. But no.
People are too dependant and lazy and want everything to be handed out and supplied to them. It's insulting. Say what you will about old traditions being backwards in some sense, but the old days had something right about their mentality that most people these days don't.
You earn your keep. You do it yourself because you're the only one you can accurately rely on. It's that kind of stubborness and lifestyle that breeds hardy people, and more resourceful people. Something the world could benefit from as a whole.

You are right Zonda. It is infuriating. And you gotta love how people don't look at the concept directly. Even engineers of solar panels themselves. If you remember, a little while back, there was a big hubub about this team of people creating solar tiles that they wanted to use to replace roads.
Cheap, durable, and easy to mass produce. But still, they'd never be able to replace a road. After the big hubub and the various flaws listed about the project, I assume it probably hit some slow ground and sank in the mud.
The team who worked on the concept had a good idea. Durable, cheap, and easy to produce solar panels. Why not take the concept and simplify it? Why not just make those solar panels for normal useage? Or why not find places that they could fit?
The thing with solar panels, is that they don't have the capability to produce mass amounts of power. And that's what everybody wants. They want this big centralized power source that can give them everything and output miracle amounts of power. I'd argue probably because it'd be a fantastic money maker if you controlled and regulated it.
But there's no feasible fucking reason that you can't set up some solar panels for your house to regulate a portion of the power. And there's no reason that rather than focusing on a solar farm to provide mass amounts of power, you focus on supplying the general population with the individual means to supply themselves can't e done.
How about people that like to complain that there's no sun? Two things for them. Get a fucking battery bank so you can store excess power generated by the panels on the sunny days so that you have a supply for cloudy days.
Get a windmill with an alternator attached to it. Clouds usually come with wind. Combine a small windmill with solar panels and you have a pretty good shot at replenishing a battery bank for your own power supply. Go even farther and make another windmill that catches rain and uses the weight to spin itself. Clouds usually come with rain.
Hook all three of those things up to your house and you'd be well off.
And you don't have to power a city with it. Just houses. Hospitals and big places can still use electric turbines. But imagine if every house had the ability to produce it's own power, or even a portion of it?
How much energy and strain would that take off electrical plants? A lot, no doubt.

>Complaining that solar cells might cause cancer when we literally live surrounded by cancer causing shit already.
ikr, it's infuriating as fuck.
I really do love the mentality about solar power that most people seem to harbor. "Oh but it's hard and expensive. It doesn't make enough energy, yada yada." You know what Henery Ford told his team of engineers to do when they told him they couldn't build a certain type of engine? He told them he didn't want fucking excuses, he wanted an engine. Long story short, they gave him an engine. And it was the type that was specified. We've got all this fucking enginuity at our disposal and a power source sitting right at our fingertips, and rather than capitalize on it we sit back and bitch that it's hard to do or too expensive. Fuck money when it comes to shit like this. If there was ever a good fucking way to impede decent progress it's always people that are fucking scared that their imaginary numbers will go too high. And fuck people that are content to sit around and turn away when something gets difficult or tricky.

Vader's suit also pumped him up with drugs. I assume among all his choices of in-helmet martini cocktails there was stuff in there that dulled whatever sex drive he had left after he turned into toast.
