I just suddenly noticed how meaningless an armoured vehicle is. Speficially any kind that has an open cockpit.

On testing, 90% of the time an ONI warthog takes a hit from a tank/explosive/laser, the vehicle survives, but the occupants don't.

Real useful, that is. I really feel like handing the enemy team a free warthog.

Speaking of life changes.

My blood's slowly turning thin/pasty now. Diagnosed some time back with an early stage of leukemia. I got lucky though. It's not in my bones yet, which means I won't have to do any of the really fun song and dance like chemo or radiation therapy. I can chow down on some anti-cancer agents I can get shipped out here through my town pharmacy.

I won't say anything bad about this because I was expecting to be fully hospitalized with it in my bones.

But, instead, I got to come home. So I'm gonna build my house this year.

What's not to be excited about by a giant fucking plane with a frisbee on it?

Hell dude, I'll probably never step in anything more exotic than a canoe.

Fly your frisbee with pride.

Does this guy do this a lot?

I haven't really cared to poke my head into the whole debacle too much. But I can recall at least like four of these threads done by him in the last two months.

It's just revolving door syndrome at this point. No use making any kind of fuss either way over it.

It seems to be really important to them, there's one guy who's like 50 and he's doing sex breathing exercises and shit
lmao

There was one guy there who only got to the kissing part of things and contracted an illness from it which paralyzed him. First time left him with some trust issues and psychological fun.

Apparently getting intimate with a partner that didn't infect him with something helped him get over those trust issues and psychological scars.

It's good to know that when I eventually drop dead from whatever causes nobody will mourn my passing here. Quiet and unmemorable. Just the way I like it.

That being said. If I think of Sep7agon and some token faces in the community;

The unholy weeb trinity of like three people I can never remember

Three reasons. You can't go anywhere here without bumping into them, or some grand discussion comes out of something they said. Or they've just got memorable personalities/quirks in conjunction with one of the other two.

Keep whoring out you sluts.
Am I turning into a faceless weeb?

No, you're not part of the unholy trinity. You don't match them in appearance or posting style. And you're not as commonly seen as they are.

You'd be more like a weeb that occassionally comes out of the shadows before burning in the sunlight and retreating to your safety waifu themed cave.
oh

I'll try to take that as a compliment.

I wasn't aiming at being offensive. Just talking in my cheeky cunt sense of humor.

Waifu themed caves aren't a bad thing, ya know.

Or maybe I just don't recognize your name so often. But it seems like you show up for short times and then retreat elewhere on us.
Didn't take it offensively. Weebery is just banter.

And I try to only post when I have something to say, lurking is my default.

Which is a shame cause I get the feeling you've got interesting stuff to talk about.
Neh. You can ask anybody who has known me since b.net, the closest I get to "interesting conversation" is rambling and tangents galore.

Rambling is fine by me. That's when the person usually gets most interesting. Cause that's when all the barriers and formalities are gone.

Ramblings are just people's thought trains, essentially set free to travel wherever they want with no restrictions. It's usually when the best conversations come up.

I find it weird how a race of people who are literally decaying are able to make such great technological strides.

I find it weird that the race of xenophobic, decaying clone people haven't utterly massacared the space jews yet.

On a slightly more serious note.

Pressure usually amounts to big technological leaps. I guess when you're turning into a senile space zombie you tend to throw all your money at your best scientists and doctors.

Because you don't have one

Unless you count "emo bitchbaby"

Or perhaps it's because my personality without my physical charisma is not a very well-received persona.

Pick one, Jim. Am I devoid of personality or do I simply possess a shitty one?

You're devoid of possessing a personality that is shitty.

Captain Vor is so fucking ugly. And uninteresting. The best boss of Warframe was the Hyena(?). The one where you need to shoot its legs after disabling its shields.

Captain Vor is a beautiful soul.

And canon wise it makes no sense, especially with the first order and how they came about and where the fuck stoke came from.

A fun movie but definitely not a great movie. And likely not memorable like that of the sequels or even some parts of the prequels.
It's a first in a trilogy; it's not supposed to explain everything. Where Snoke came from and what he is, how he seduced Ben; those are all part of the mystery we're all supposed to be thinking about for the next installment. What if A New Hope told you Vader was Luke's father? Also, I agree that how the First Order rose up could be explained a little better, but at the same time we don't need to be bogged down with politics or else we'd get Star Wars: Trade Negotiations. I thought it was pretty straight forward though. The New Republic underestimates the First Order, they're tired of war, don't take action. That's what the Resistance is for; the New Republic is just a bunch of bureaucrats that don't see the threat like General Organa does. Also the First Order is more of a radical splinter group.
I agree but it should have fleshed out the story more. Just because it is part of a trilogy does not excuse the movie for lacking in context.

I still think context could have been explained better. As well as plot points like how an Empire who lost their number one and two suddenly found a way to become strong again and build a mega death star with no one noticing. How one can learn to use the force so well they can defeat another force user who was trained in the force for a longer time.

There are things that make sense and don't. And personally I did not feel like the movie was in a Galaxy but in just a solar system.

There's already some explanations for this in books and shit. Lemme give you a rundown.

After the battle of Endor, the Empire tried to collect it's shit, but did a poor job. The rebels gained immidiate support from worlds previously oppressed by the empire, and were able to overpower the remnants until an eventual ceasefire was made between the new republic and the remnants.

However, a small sect of empire loyalists fled. They fled to the edge of the galaxy into what's known as the unkown regions. And with them, they took some shit from Palpatine's data vaults.

So that group fucked off for about 30 years and began to build their strength while the new republic did its thing. The new republic put sanctions on fleet sizes, to try and avoid warmongering. And over the next 30 years skirmishes happened on the borders with the new order, but the new republic turned a blind eye to Leia's insistance that they were a threat, passing her off as a warmongerer or somebody trying to re-live her glory days.

She got frustrated and left the republic, forming the rebel alliance, to try and get ready for combating the new order. But without the republic's help, the movement had little traction.

So, we come to the movie.

New Order plays it's hand, the New Republic's indecisive decesions lead to them getting ass stomped.

And Rey?

She's obviously the second coming of space jesus.
