Unbelievable, I came across lots of posts saying they can't imagine, say, a ball, or a triangle with colours.
Thinking back, I did do some practice visualization back in first grade, or "10th" grade, so I probably couldn't do it before, but because 2 years have passed it just feels so normal because I used to imagine grappling moves on the train ride home 5 days a week last year for 5 months.

They say Babies and drunks take no damage when falling from 1st floor buildings, but people who tense up and try to catch themselves with their arm end up with a broken arm.

Confidence is being sure of your abilities, with the situation taken into consideration. Arrogance is being sure of your abilities, regardless of the situation. You think that you superior because you are you, and they are not. Nothing can trump you, and unless you're perfect you won't be content.
A person that brags about their victory and who, before the competition, cares more about how the fans are gonna love what they're seeing is arrogant.
A person that thanks people who are responsible for supporting them, and before the competition, cares more about the actual competition and what it's about is confident.
In my previous thread that compared hate to apathy I chose the emotional feeling as the better one, but in this case I will not. I think that arrogance is worse than confidence in every way because not only does it leave you feeling more empty, but you're focusing on the wrong stuff.
I've made this thread because I recognize that my bravado that I put on when I'm exaggerating sometimes crosses into arrogance. Forget that others don't like arrogant people, in the long run it's a detriment to myself. Often times when putting on personas, be it online or offline, we border into arrogant behaviour, and end up being arrogant.

Hate is a good thing, it focuses the mind and motivates you to find flaws in the other person as to attack them. Hate grows even bigger when the idiots don't realize they're being stupid, but even though it might be frustrating, it's a lot better than being apathetic. Being apathetic has no benefits. It's like being dead.

This is about a year or two old, but doesn't it just make your blood boil? We've become so sensitive that we're disregarding reason and common sense for being PC... of course that is what my first thoughts were, but upon reading what the police chief had to say I changed my mind. Everything made a lot more sense to me, and I found myself agreeing with the decision.
The reason why they don't give out descriptions in petty crimes or daily crimes is because witness reports almost never aid the investigation. It can happen that police are allowed to give out descriptions, but this privilege is exclusive to field cops. So basically we don't get descriptions because there's no reason for it. When you read about a certain kind of people doing bad things you think "We need to punish them" and you start to dislike that kind just a bit more. Sweden isn't going to deport all immigrant because the people are angry, so really, what they're doing is minimizing the hate at the cost of less than 5% aid.
I not only wanna discuss this situation and your opinion on it, but I'd also like to take time to address how easily our opinions are formed when it comes to hate topics.
and if you wanna hate on immigrants for doing bad things, would you beat up one that does something bad? Are you willing to beat up an innocent one on the train or wherever? You have to answer yes to both of these questions if you wanna hate on a certain kind of people.
