We're done.
I've told her that I hate the idea that she is going to see him. That it hurt, and if we planned to try to work on things, this would hurt it.
She simply said its over and done.
We will stay together long enough for the adoption to be final. The next day we file our divorce.
We've agreed to go by whatever a child custody coach recommends for us. Unfortunately that could mean I end up a Disneyland dad, or I'm the one with full custody. It could go either way. He's a psychologist who will make a plan based on what is best for the kids' well being.
I am at a low point. She took what should have been a happy time and ruined it.

I'm at the end of my rope.
She just told me that she isn't heading back early not for her client, but to NYC to see him.
I told her today that while I don't think it was possible I could ever forgive or forget, but maybe, just maybe we could repair our marriage. After all, we have been together for 15 years. That's a lot to work with.
But, there is nothing while he is in the picture.
She said she understood, and may break it off with him, but she may decide to stay with him. I won't know until she decides. After she goes to see him.
So, I have to wait in Jacksonville for the next 6 to 10 business days, by myself, with a newborn, and she is off to NYC to see the other man.

She asked why. I told her that I needed to know if I should go get a full panel of STD tests.
She got pissed, went off, and started screaming. I remained calm, and kept repeating that it is a fair question.
She was screaming that if I thought she was stupid, that she wouldn't use protection. I replied that it doesn't really matter what kind of person I thought she was, because I thought she wasn't the kind to cheat, either. Clearly I can make mistakes.
I think that I asked a fair, and responsible question.

Well, it started out OK. I got a shit load done today. I pick up Mrs Charlie at the airport, and things seemed OK.
Then we get a call, the birthmother is in premature labor, buy your plane tickets, reserve a hotel, Alex is being born. I do what I gotta, and when I get back, Mrs Charlie is sitting on the bed, quiet.
She tells me that she just has to get it out.
There is another man, and she has been seeing him for the last few months.
I am still in shock. I have more anger than I have ever felt in my life. And I don't know what to do.
We can't divorce immediately. We can't even act like we will. We have the adoption to think about. This baby is Nicholas's full sibling. Same birthparents. If he's going to have to grow up in a broken home, at least he won't be doing it alone.
So, my bags are packed, the taxi gets here in 3 and a half hours. I have a little baby to go and adopt. And a life that I either need to leave or put back together.
So, I got that going for me.

I don't know if I told you guys, but we are adopting another. Nicholas's birthmother contacted us about 6 months ago, she is pregnant AGAIN (her 9th) and if we wanted to adopt. We said yes and things moved along.
Mrs Charlie asked me if we should be more open with her.
I said no. She extorted money from us before, and she would likely do it again.
Mrs Charlie picked a fight, one that lasted until today, in fact. At first they seemed to bond, but the Birthmother started having crisis after crisis. Each one could only be solved by more and more money.
Last night she sent us a text:
Pay me money (over $10,000) or I will go to Georgia to adopt this child to someone else. Pay cash or you get nothing.
I'm at a loss. I came up with a plan of action, and it would work, if Mrs Charlie didn't just give up. She just yells at me that we have no rights here, and we don't have the money she's asking for. Just give up, sell the nursery stuff and move on.
The birthmother is due in two weeks.
So, I am at a loss here.

By the way, you can ONLY teleport 300 pounds. If you way more than that, you will have to lose weight to teleport. If you weigh less than that, you can carry the difference with you.
