Bathing my youngest on Thursday...
He turned to the side, grabbed his junk and started yelling PEE PEE
I seriously had no idea how to react. On one hand, that was FUNNY
But if he does it to the nannies ex-Mrs Charlie hires to raise my boys while at her house... Inappropriate? I don't know

It's on Tuesday.
We're visiting a big customer of mine. But... I gotta take him to lunch.
Choices:
Chain burger joint with an "Islands" theme
A chain casual Mexican place
A local favorite cafeteria style German deli/butcher
He's a pretty laid back guy, but he does have power over my career with this company

We never got to see them fight like they meant it, and all the way.
Locke seemed to be able to hold his own.
So, in full armor, and given the time to do it, who would win?
How much damage would they do to the other before dying?

So... Every Christian I've seen on TV agree on one issue. Gays are all going to hell.
Now, since these Christians all say we are made in God's image, it can't be that some are gay... It must be in the act of gay sex.
So, now about hell. While descriptions of hell vary widely, pretty much everyone agrees it's a pretty bad place.
So, if gay sex gets you into hell, why do it?
Gay sex must be mind blowingly amazing. Maybe the gay guys who act like fairies are just riding the high of really amazing sex.
Maybe that's why it's banned. It's better than being with god

All right, kids, it is now my job to teach you the theory of evolution. Now I, for one, think evolution is a bunch of *bullcrap*! But I've been told I have to teach it to you anyway. It was thought up by Charles Darwin and it goes something like this... In the beginning, we were all fish. Okay? Swimming around in the water. And then one day a couple of fish had a retard baby, and the retard baby was different, so it got to live. So Retard Fish goes on to make more retard babies, and then one day, a retard baby fish crawled out of the ocean with its... mutant fish hands... and it had butt sex with a squirrel or something and made this. Retard frog-sqirrel, and then *that* had a retard baby which was a... monkey-fish-frog... And then this monkey-fish-frog had butt sex with that monkey, and that monkey had a mutant retard baby that screwed another monkey... and that made you! So there you go! You're the retarded offspring of five monkeys having butt sex with a fish-squirrel! Congratulations!

They aren't out banging the masses. They have sex as job, but it's only a few guys who they work with. Yes, they do it for money, but again it's not every guy who happens along.
Wouldn't it be more of a profession at this point?

Any sitcom. Only two rules:
1) Has to be live action
2) Has to have run on a major network
Why that sitcom?

Movies that should be remade with either women or minority casts.
I'll start:
2001, but done with all African American actors, starring Kanye West and Ice Cube. HAL 9000 would be voiced by Eminem.

Das, you don't need to answer, we know you are both.
Everyone else: it's clear you are all one or the other. Declare which. Anita Sarkeesian and Spike Lee are standing by to torture you.

Since I am sure there are hundreds of Hollywood writers, producers and directors on this forum, I want to take a moment of your time to ask you to do something.
STOP MAKING UNORIGINAL SHIT
Seriously. An occasional sequel is OK. When the original was awesome and you have a bigger story to tell. But all that seems to be made now is reboots and unnecessary sequels. We don't need all this. We don't want it. You guys want to get a return on your investment. I get that. So you keep to "safe" projects. But the safe path led to mediocrity. And that's what most movies have been. Mediocre.
We don't want a new vision of Star Trek or Spider Man. We want NEW movies that replace those as favorites. New characters and new stories. Take a risk. Blaze a new trail. Sometimes you will fail. Hell, one look at Fant4stic shows that you can fail on your safe bets.
Hollywood has shown that the potential for creativity is there. Rediscover it and show us, your paying customers, that you can do it.

Emperor Cheatavious has declared that the games shall begin.
We need:
Trainers/Owners. Gladiators are slaves. No easy way to put that. But we need owners to stay off the arena, get none of the glory, but some of the money.
Gladiators. After 10 wins they earn their freedom. They get glory, hot slave bitches... and the ever present risk of a bloody death.
Of the gladiators, there are the heavies that carry half armor and two handed weapons. The middle weights that have no armor, but have a shield and sword. Finally the lightweights that use a trident and net.
GLORY TO CHEATAVIOUS!!
Who will volunteer?

Was talking with a buddy at work. He said he dated a porn star in college. He wasn't one himself and said he was ok with her doing it. Said that she just acted, there was no emotion for her at work. Basically slthey made love, while her films were just an act.
I don't think it would be cool with me. I'm not really quite that open minded.
You?

One is knowledge on how things actually work. Things like people, systems and things like that. The other is on the theories, hard sciences and intangibles.
Ideally a well balanced person would have both. Nearly no one does.
1) Which do you feel is more important?
2) Which do you have more of?

Is it in "The West?"
Many, too many, of my fellow atheists seem to think that the fight is here. Keeping theist agendas from being forwarded here at home.
Does it deliver an impact worthy of the effort put in?
I say there are other "battlefields" more worthy of the effort. Though it would mean leaving the comfort of our homes and actually getting into harm's way...
1) The Middle East. ISIL is a direct example of the refutation of secularism. People are losing their lives over a bullshit interpretation of a religion.
2) India and South Asia. It's not widely known, but women are pretty regularly attacked for "being witches" and other superstitious nonsense.
3) The majority of Africa. Like India, there is rampant superstition that leads to violence and death.
In all three of these regions, people are dying because of superstition and religion. Yet nearly no one goes to fight for atheism there.
Maybe it's time we focus on areas that matter?

an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation. Like it or not, not even the biggest online forums have a population approaching Facebook. Sure, "real" memes exist elsewhere, but they don't have 1/1000th the power of one spread on Facebook.

Everyone has seen it. The parable of the atheist professor going on about how God doesn't intervene in human affairs, until the US Marine stands up and punched him, saying he was standing in for god. After which a bald eagle shrieks for freedom, the marine proceeds to take OSB's severed head out of a sachel and starts to skull fuck it until he ejaculates red white and blue .50 cal tracer rounds from his cock and Ronald Reagan drives through the wall in a M1 Abrams tank with Jimmi Hendrix's National Anthem playing and the whole class yelling USA USA USA as Michael Jordan jumps over the tank to slam dunk. Sunglasses float down to the Marine's face and he yells deal with it faggots and rides into the sunset.
I think this parable depicts exactly what Jesus wanted his message to be. Fucking be a Christian or a badassed Marine will knock you the fuck out.
So, you better be a Good Christian or Master Gunnery Sergeant Hank Johnson will fast rope through your window and knock you out.

I'm REALLY late on this. But I finally got around to watching it. I think it was equal to 2001, but in a different way.
In the movie there was a battle between two ideologies: Survival as a species vs survival as an individual. 2001 was about our species. Evolution was the theme. 1st as hominids discovering tools up to the birth of the star child.
Interstellar showed that an individual can survive what it would take to reach the stars and touch the inexplicable.
