I need some fresh ideas for new nameplates. Pestilence, Legendary, and Eternal are already being considered. I'm also planning on a Veteran or Grizzled nameplate for those members that were around before the switch to bungie.next.
Give me your ideas (or ready-made nameplates)!
EDIT: We're voting for nameplates now, since there are so many custom ones being designed. Post your creations here or in the other nameplate thread(s). Just make sure they're visible come Friday and I'll put them all in a poll for you people to vote on. The custom ones I've already installed are subject to the poll as well, save the mod/admin personal plates.
About 7-10 new plates will be accepted for this first round.

Oooh, I got an idea. What if we had a thing where you type in a message and it'll display at the top for 10 seconds. Everyone could type anything and it would update every ten seconds with the next message in line to display. Would that even be possible to do?

It was alright the last time I was on. The only thing that sucked were the ones who insisted on playing religious or counter-religious videos that lasted 10 minutes.

When I tried to directly upload a .gif it didn't move, but when I uploaded it to a different site and used the link it worked.
Dunno if that's an actual problem or just something retarded on my end.
I'm not sure if gifs work properly with the forum yet but I will check it out. Your best bet is, as you've already done, to use a linked avatar.

You're posting on the new host right now, but other people might be seeing the old site (which is turned off) because the address is the same (sep7agon.net) but the IP addresses are different. Think of it like an outdated map taking you to the wrong street.

Limit, in the mathematical sense, yes. The more tenured you are on the forums, the less and less individual votes affect you. You'll never reach the point of being immune to Trust ratings, but you can get damn close eventually.

In about a half hour I'll be putting the forum into maintenance mode while I move the site. It'll be down for a few hours, but the trial run on one of the backups went smoothly, so I don't anticipate any problems.
