So much tribal hate. Damn.
Yeah, that's the first one that's probably going to be added to the Deletion poll. The Vore one is also looking like it's going away.

I edited the poll options for you. The "No" field was showing up strangely to me.

Gentek Vore and uh... um... Kiyo!
Gentek and Kiyo are out of bounds. Also, I've updated the code so that only public and free nameplates are displayed.

Db2 Eternal Real Talk
All of those are exempt (non-public). I'll just go ahead and write up some code to block those from view.

Before we vote in some new nameplates (including those awesome Reach ones) we need to clean house a bit and purge the old, underused plates to make things a bit nicer to look at in your nameplate inventory. So we'll be voting on about 5 or so nameplates to be removed. Please click here and check out the nameplates we have. Some of them are not public plates (admin, mod, pestilence, etc.) and others are unlockable or are otherwise important (ditto, sep7agon, etc.) and are not up for vote. Once you have picked a few plates (2 or 3) you'd like to see gone, post them here.

I have my old record to beat now. 10,000 customs played on Halo 3.
I think I had 12,000
27,000, nigga.
I think Cheat and Ryle had me beat though, last time I checked on Reach. (The Halo 3 stats thing you can check on their Reach profile)
I'm not sure about that. I played more matchmaking than anyone at game night (Brigadier General FTW) but I've got a minuscule number of custom games in comparison. As for MCC, I'm also going to be doing the campaigns first (Heroic or Legendary, I haven't decided yet).

No, but it ought to.
I don't know if it should happen when you report a thread, but being able to hide threads would be dandy.
Report didn't work anyway. I'll just let my eyes slide over them for the nonce.
What? Report absolutely works. Reported threads won't be hiden, though, and I don't have any plans in the future make it so.

How entertaining is a locked thread?
EDIT: Oh, that's right, you can't reply.

No, at least not for me, the word "nigger" is not a sensitive term imh. "Nigger" is just a word tied to a very touchy subject in America, like I said, it's just a word and shouldn't cause offense unless you're using it to describe people of a darker skin tone.
It's not a big deal to me either (I have a horrible bad word filter in real life) but saying nigger around the St. Louis area is really really stupid and could get you in a lot of trouble.
Unless you're black.
I am very un-black.
Cheat is the Niggest of the Niggers.
Right. Just call me "The Darkness."

I only have two (and one is really just a "best effort" type deal) 1. Never lie, even under everyday circumstances. If you must lie, have a really good reason for it. 2. Never break a promise under any circumstance. After watching and loving Lie to Me, I really got interested in the whole radical honesty thing. I don't abide by those "shout everything that pops into your head" rules, but I do make every effort to never tell a lie. After a year or so of it, it's just sort of become a part of me; I literally will not knowingly tell a lie unless it's incredibly important that I do so. This makes for some interesting phrasing acrobatics on my part, but it's satisfying knowing I cannot ever be caught in a lie. EDIT: I also exclude sarcasm from my "don't tell a lie" rule. That should be obvious. The second one (the whole "never break a promise" thing) I consider more binding. Since adopting the "ethic" I've only made two promises. A bit strange, I know, but I don't really have any other ethics or values. Play Halo with me and you'll know this is true.

We agree on a lot of shit, Cheat. I don't tip either.
I find it amusing how people get LIVID when you say stuff like that. It's the reason I don't usually go out to eat.
I've noticed that as well, yeah.

I really wish there was an place of eternal harmony that you go to after you die, where all your deceased loved ones and friends are waiting for you. I cannot overstate how much I wish there was a place like that. But the sad fact of the matter is that it doesn't exist. After death, there is literally nothing. No black void, no fire, just simply nothing. It's an incredibly scary thought, and I can see why people would rather believe in religion than the idea of nothingness. I would love to delude myself in that belief, and I did for a while. But everyone has to face the truth sometime. The kind of funny thing is that Christians will never be proven wrong. When they die, they won't have the cognition to realize that their beliefs were incorrect.
I don't think it's a scary thing at all, being dead. I can't really recall what it was like before I was born—being nonexistent and all—but if I had to take a guess, I'd imagine death would be something like life before living. So from my point of view, as a consciousness, I'll never die.

I literally have never met someone who got married for that. :/ ...What else would you get married for?... It's superfluous. There's nothing romantically exclusive about marriage. In my opinion.
I agree with you. Now, if it weren't possible for someone to sign a few papers and, presto chango, the marriage is gone! Then I could see how it would be meaningful and exclusive—have it as an absolutely permanent contract.

So I just got done playing halo reach. It was an assassination game and there were power ups on the map(instakill, invincibility, etc etc.) then this guy (HerHersheyKiss,or something like that) got instakill, got a tank and started being an asshole. So I booted him, I even told him he could come back if he stopped being a dick. So then he asks me to join his party. I did, then he said something like"thanks for the ip bitch" and told me to stay in the party for a minute. I just left. And of course, nothing happened. Don't you hate it when people do shit like this?
I love it when they do shit like this. I play along, you see, and pretend that I'm an idiot. I think I might have "offered" one of these "hackers" money to keep him from getting my account just to keep him going on his power trip. I had to turn my mic off to keep him from hearing me laughing at him.

I'm a content editor at the Halo Archive, and am attempting to get a major in creative writing.
Do with that as you will I guess.
Happy to have you here, and of course I'm interested in seeing what kind of word skills you have. Also note (for those of you freaks who don't leave The Flood): the news display is up on the Index and it is decently placed, I think. The one-on-top-of-the-other view wasn't working out so well.

If you're thinking about tournaments...they don't have to be MLG events, you know. The small-time tournaments that are put up at game stores attract a small crowd and if you were wearing a T-shirt or something, you could definitely get some people joining up.

Enter a MCC tournement representing Sep7agon and win the tournement. That'll get recognition, or advertise it at a gaming event.
So who on here is good enough at Halo to beat players like Pistola, Snipedown, Ace, Naded, Legit etc.?
I think it was Ryle that was very good at Halo (at least during the game night). I'm decent at Reach and pretty good on Halo 3, but...not really MLG level or anything.

CHEAT COME HERE
I'm here, what's up? By the way, you sent me a link to the sperm game thread. Thanks for that. EDIT: I saw the thread on the archive. I'll send/receive the friend requests right now.

Click the "Sep7agon" banner up at the top and you'll see the brand new additions to the forum. Posts are pulled from the Updates board (soon to be renamed News to match with the top menu) and previewed for all to see when they arrive on our shores. Soon we'll start accepting reviews, news articles, and other good reads. For now, just sit back and pardon the sawdust while I make this bitch fit correctly.

There's a pinned thread in this board. http://sep7agon.net/index.php?topic=727.0

I'm backing up the forum and then I'll install the mod that lets us have a front page. There might be a bit of stupid shit happening at first, so don't panic, please.

OTTHILD
Aren't you the one that is pretty good friends with her?
Yeah, I was about to message her on skype
I say let's wait until the server is done throwing a tantrum to invite new people. First impressions and all that... EDIT: and by that I mean let's wait at least a few hours. The site's only just begun to function normally.
