I've never actually used it before... And so I'm wondering who actually does.
I've kinda forgotten about it since it went to the drop down menu.
For remindg me that it exists you get a +1.
That's what I hoped would happen; I wanted it to be less of an instinct to just press one of the buttons.
It also cleans up the default view of posts and makes opening sigs a more attractive option.
Well, seeing how it doesn't do a whole lot anymore for frequrnt posters, why not get rid of it?
It still carries weight to it, don't fool yourself. Active members (post-wise and lurker-wise) are less affected by it, but upvotes still help and downvotes still hurt.
Ah. I guess I just misunderstood you before then. Thanks.
You had the right idea. As your post count or your time online goes to infinity, your "score" (which is the mysterious number that determines your rating) goes to zero and you head toward being immune to downvotes.

Yeah, he's gone. I left him a message on he ban screen when he accesses the forum to contact me on Bnet if he ever thought about joining up again.
Oh geez, what did he do to get a permaban?
Posted some users' personal information and real identities. Pretty fucked up.
I think he may have also threatened to crash/disrupt/attack the forum as well, which was why the permaban was given. You'd have to ask Slash; I think he was the one to ban him.
I believe that the situation has been sufficiently explained at this point, and can only see a dark road further down this path, so I propose a lock on this thread. Don't want more personal info being spread around.
Anyone with questions should be able to find all they want to know from what's already been said.
This is true.

What does the message say?
Just to send me a PM if he wants back into the forum. As I understand it, he sort of banned himself to force himself away from the forum. I don't really know the whole story, as I'm not the one who banned him, but I'd still consider letting him back if he wanted.

There's a thread in Updates about this. I already submitted a ticket, but it's likely the issue is on the host's end since I haven't screwed with anything lately that would throw the error and slow the site down.
Will this warrant a move to a better host?
Cameron has solved the problem, thank you very much.
U w0-
"September 15"
Well shit.
I guess you're just the billionaire, playboy, philanthropist today.

But what about Cameron? No. We're fine. It was just a temporary bug that they recognized and fixed. To be honest, this is the best host we've had so far; the error that cropped up was actually fixed by them and not patched back together by me.

Swage seemed to be very popular. It's a wonder it was voted out.
It lives on in spirit and will rise again.
I'll consider adding it to the next nameplate poll. If it's popular enough, it'll get in again.

I made an account on this gay forum just to tell Door AC/DC completely sucks (even Black Ice) and Iron Maiden doesn't suck at all and never has.
Everything else is right though.
but the Beatless and The Rolling Stones DO count as Dadrock. And both suck balls. Also Elvis. Also does Joan Jett count? Because she's a talentless hack.
Get out.

Why no "PROTECT ME CONE!" with a cone picture
Probably because nobody made one.

Imma lock this before the thread branches off into another separate discussion of something unrelated to latitoast.

I wish I could pick more than 2... Also, I wish the Reach nameplates had been implemented differently, because they way they appear here, it looks like they're going to be behind the name/title
They won't be. I'll have to put some transparency behind them, but all background images for nameplates float right.

You forget to put "Enjoy Your 3 Month Ban" in the poll.
Added.

2 to 3 new nameplates will be added. I'm adding this one automatically as an unlockable plate. It'll probably replace both Binary and Test Subject (I will combine them). Neo'll get this one, too, since he came up with the idea.

I'm assuming you're being funny, but if you're genuinely experiencing this problem, then refresh the page a few times because you're failing to load the theme CSS.

wtf man that's the only good nameplate
I dunno, Imposter is working out quite nicely for me.
I thought imposter was restricted to anarchy??
Heroic + 3000 posts get it everywhere. Mythic gets a custom title. It's highly possible that these features could be moved into a more "coup-like" opt-in toggle, where anyone can use and see them so long as they have it turned on.

Why do you insist on breaking the CSS?
