I honestly find it retarded that I have to add this declaimer. Ugh. Anyway agree? Disagree with me?What the fuck... I'm not that much of a jerk that I'd ban you for criticizing the rules. That last rule is there as a catch all for any offences I forgot or hadn't realized we needed until they were brought up. Quote >Why would personal attacks even get to anybody? Words on a fucking screen and they make you rage or get emotional? Really. If you're personally attack ignore or fight fire with fire.Because they're annoying, distracting, and get people raging. It's hard to have a discussion when someone's calling someone else a twat. Graphic content is allowed, so long as it's relevant to the discussion, it's not being posted for the sake of posting it, and it's encapsulated in a spoiler that clearly warns other users about what it contains. Not everyone likes looking at that kind of stuff. 4863

The Flood / Re: Is Anarchy coming back?« on: September 21, 2014, 10:45:01 PM »
It's coming back. I had first planned on having it every 7th of the month, but it's more of a weekend thing to me, so we're sticking with that.
The next round starts October 3rd, early in the morning. I've packed a pretty substantial extra feature into that forum that should help with the chaos, so be excited. 4870
Gaming / Re: Angry Joe's Review on Destiny.« on: September 21, 2014, 10:41:08 PM »I just bought a copy used off of eBay after playing through the Beta portions of the beginning of the game yesterday and today.I'll be getting it with my one... So I guess it's worth it by November? More expansions?Expansions are not a good thing though. They obviously took shit out of the story and are going to add it in as DLC, because the story in the game is non existent. I definitely won't be buying any of the paid DLC. No expansion pass; no added campaigns. I figure this game will tide me over until MCC comes out, which will then keep me occupied until Halo 5. 4871

Septagon / Re: Cheat, you should get rid of the mute system« on: September 21, 2014, 08:55:27 PM »This place is too small for a mute system, I still refuse to use the mute feature on b.netA lot of people wanted it and the variable that keeps track of the ignore list was already there by default, so it was implemented. It's just one of those things that if you don't like it, don't use it. The posts aren't completely hidden like on B.lind; the spoiler tells you whose post is hidden and it takes a single click to open it up. And I think this thread should have been in Support or something. 4873

Gaming / Re: Halo: MCC Info Thread ( Gungoose Gameplay Update )« on: September 21, 2014, 05:44:54 PM »Thats the beauty of the MCC, though. They could take the flame chest armor, clone it to a custom armor set that they inject, and then remove flame textures when active camo is on. No need to worry about the nameplate link.I don't know if they were able to increase how well the engine could handle resources, but I do know that one of the reasons Bungie didn't have the Flame head on for everyone was because the fire was pretty draining to render.I wonder if this is being added to all of the games in MCC. 343i has a unique opportunity here; they can inject whatever they'd like into the maps before launch and it'll load just fine since everyone will have the updated/modded .map files. The Gungoose looks kinda overpowered. It does look more powerful than the ghost, but it's still balanced due to the movement of it. The ghost is able to spin around in a circle in the same spot unlike this thing which doesn't have that field of movement. It's limited to wheels which means in order to attack something behind it it has to turn around which takes time. The ghosts on the other hand can simply slow down and do a tight turn. The other thing is that this is far less stable than the ghost at high speeds going over things. And the excuse was just the one I heard; it's not such a stretch, considering how easily the framerate can drop in that game on Sandtrap with the Scarab. 4877

Serious / Re: How many genders do you recognize?« on: September 21, 2014, 04:00:53 PM »Even that's not true 100% of the time. There are variations and 'errors' that produce a person with strange chromosomal or genital combinations. What you mean? You know exactly what I mean, but I guess I will waste my time explaining it anyway. There are two sexes, male and female, which are dependent upon what sexual organs you are born with. Gender, something that is entirely different than sex, is determined by what you identify as, and there are numerous genders, because gender is a spectrum. I'd say it's naive to believe gender is a strict binary when the more concrete sex isn't always so. 4881

Septagon / Re: BBcode for embedding WebM files?« on: September 21, 2014, 01:27:52 AM »Maybe; the problem is that there are so many different formats for embedding videos. We'd have to install each one separately. Allowing unrestricted HTML is a huge security risk.Could we create, or find, the translation for that, and add it to the program that converts it?BBCode is a local "language," unlike HTML. BBCode is always converted into something else in order for the browser to understand it. Here, with the SMF software, there's not such a code. There is no such thing for BBCcode, as far as I know. But there is! I would be willing to try to get <video> tags enabled, which is one of the new elements in HTML5. You'd be able to embed any video that you have the source of. 4884

The global style is located in body {}. You're either fooling everyone, or are massively confused. 4885
