Gonna have to keep the 3000 post rule. It's more fair that way. EDIT: made it simpler. Legendary requires 3000 posts. I've also raised the bar a bit on the other Prefixes.

I'll be pushing an update to the Trust system late tonight, before Penguin Party starts, that may affect your Prefix and customization privileges. Read on to see what's up: Changes: - Time Online variable (in whole hours) added to Prefix cap requirements
- Reduced weight on negative Trust values (downvotes)
- Swapped customization privileges with some Prefixes
- Custom nameplate and titlebar color moved to Legendary
- Custom titlebar border added to Mythic
- Custom title moved to last Trust Prefix
This means that at Legendary you will unlock both a custom nameplate and a custom titlebar color, at Mythic you will get a custom border color, and at the Prefix above Mythic you will earn a custom title. Yes, if you are Heroic after the update, you will lose your custom nameplate until you reach Legendary, which will be weighted more heavily on activity rather than on upvotes/downvotes. We're on our way to making upvotes/downvotes obsolete as we move closer and closer to a system that begins to resemble the Bungie.old Prefix rankings. A future update may very well remove that feature entirely and affect banned/warned users negatively, but for now the upvote/downvote will carry a much smaller influence over Trust ratings across the board, and activity will allow you to slowly make your way up the ladder. As always, you will have unrestricted customization privileges in Penguin Party.

They can move threads and approve a new member's first post. In Penguin Party they will likely have a few extra tools (perhaps locking), but on the main forums they are quite limited.
So all they can do is move threads?
Why not give them the ability to lock?

The rules might be enforceable but that would require so much absurd nannying that you might want to consider moving to the UK where the state can hold your hand all day.
However, the guidelines are all good and if people stuck to something like that then I'm sure the serious board would be a much better place. I would also add in 'No baiting in the serious forum' to your guidelines though, for raisins.

The trouble is, a lot of the ads don't really look all that legitimate and some look downright scam tier <.<
So having to click them is pretty... unpleasant for all involved. But even with adsense a fair few looked dodgy as hell.
I know. I'm planning on working on an ad that can directly make the site money, without going through an ad publisher, that will be 100% unobtrusive and safe to click (since it'll direct you to a page on this site). More on that later. For now, we have to deal with the pennies these ads bring in.

I can remember, only something like a short 4-5 years ago, when the internet wasn't an ad shithole. When I could open up a youtube video, and just watch the fucking video. This is the only site I stomach the ads for because it's important, and I don't get the kind you're getting.
On this topic: have you ever gotten an ad on YouTube in the middle of a video? This has happened the last few times I've watched a 10 to 15 minute vid on YouTube; out of nowhere, an ad hijacks the screen and I have to wait 15 seconds before I can resume. It sucks.

I won't stop ya. I won't say sorry, because there's nothing to be sorry for. Everybody needs a break every now and then. The internet isn't tiresome physically. But mentally.
So, I wish you a good trip and perhaps, a return to here with some new spark in hand and mind.
I wouldn't blame anybody for leaving. The topics here are about as interesting as watching paint dry and there's nothing but drama and animosity.
Let's face it, we should have all gone back to b.net a long time ago. I personally am growing tired of forums in general. If things go according to plan these next few months, I'll most likely be leaving permanently.

On the topic of Deci leaving...well, I am not sure what to say to convince you to stay.
