Ehh I'm kind of tempted/inclined to give shitposting a chance.

As long as its not spam aka multiple shitposts in a short period of time (which zesty was basically the only one who abused shitposting in that way) I don't see the problem with it

the rules here are a nice middle ground, no need to fix what isn't broken.

IMO the NSFW tag system is pretty useless, all NSFW content should be placed indirectly into labeled spoilers.

the new spoiler rule thing proposed by verbatim had me a bit confused as well, although this might just be due to misunderstanding.

Although the monitors are nice, i'd rather have more mods in power. I don't think we need "official friendly faces" in this community, as regular users can present themselves as such. A strong team of mods can keep the peace without changing the rules.


As far as "shitposting" goes, unless it's spam there should be no official rules placed on such a loose term, handle that bullshit on an individual level through the mods.

don't think this site should have private groups just yet.... the population is pretty low... plus we already have Skype. I think a group pm system ala bungle.shit would be a better alternative for the future.

The community should really just focus on getting new interesting people on here and updating the news page with user created content, If we want this site to thrive, we have to do some cool shit. Weekly/monthly articles would greatly increase the value of this site.

The staff should know exactly what I want by now. If I can't have all of it, I'll have some of it as a compromise. The spoiler rule is already coming, as far as I know, so I won't have to worry about that. The #1 change I'd like to see after that is some more strict moderation, specifically with regards to stuff like overly venomous behavior.

For this, we're going to need more mods that are willing to actually enforce the rules. Of the four mods we have, only two of them (Psy and Flee) are of any real value to the website. We need so much more.

And as always, replace LC, because he's a terrible admin. Always has been.

To clarify: I have plans to add a field that accepts remote css files so that you can change the layout to your heart's content.
