I don't even know man, The F-Zero community is really shit at making easy to access/understand tutorials so I'm only just beginning to get good at Wall riding and Boost sliding in X.

Basically you have to master perfect dash dancing in smash 4 for minutes at a time, and then when you're ready to destroy your ECU/FCU tendons, crank dat MF acceleration stat and knock yourself out.

Do I need a gamecube controller for it, or does the game just have a controls that causes your vehicle to crash at the slight tap of your stick

idk man any controller that lets you do hard left > hard right > hard left in the space of a few frames should be right. Keyboard might actually be optimal for hand preservation if playing on an emulator.
