I think it will. Sure the Nintendo's console failed but here's the problems which most likely resulted in it. There wasn't that many games, the thing was a pain to use and the technology wasn't there for it. With the PS4 on the other hand there would most likely be a lot of games for the thing simply because of 1st person games. Wearing it is a lot more practical because you're not using the console for it. And we have the tech to make the games look a hell of a lot closer to real life.

With the Kinect I can't think of any games that stands out to me. Sure there might be that token black one but from what I see there's just a shit load of dancing games. MS hasn't done anything to get the majority of the 360 user base to buy the thing. If there was a Kinect game that was similar to the Elder Scrolls I would buy it for that. I think it would be fun using a Nerf sword and shield for it. For the Xboone it's the same thing. There isn't any games and I can live without the thing. To me they tried justifying it by making the UI such a cluster fuck that you want to use the Kinect. You know they were desperate to push the thing when they originally wanted the thing to be always plugged in.

With the PS4 VR headset I don't see the Kinect problems with it. Like I said if any 1st person game can be played on it then there's a good supply of games. And there's the new car feeling to it. Outside PC and Nintendo console gamers haven't had anything like this. To me the appeal of playing your games in a real life like view would be a lot more funnier and interesting than dancing in front of my TV like a retard. Te PS4 headset to me is basically the Wii. It's going to sell because it's a new thing that's most likely going to be done right to sell.

my eyes tell me im moving when my body is not. it makes me dizzy. funky camera angles/control will fuck me up too.

Calling them virtual reality is misleading

The X1 VR will do better, ironically due to the other device mentioned, you have the VR but what the Kinect gives you is superior head tracking and of course the ability to have you (or just your hands) in the game, a fully immersive experience.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was their plan all along actually
