From what I heard, he's just moving to another follower channel since he feels the Halo one is self sustaining.  So this isn't the last we've heard of his speech impediment.

As long as there's new Call of Duty games, Activision will continue to pay him to make videos about them and speak positive about the game

I guess it's Activision doing whatever it takes to get good recognition even though they do nothing actually good anymore.
