Well I've spent years suppressing my instincts, so when I finally said "Fuck it", and started playing some of their games, well... this is the result.

Though truthfully, I've only been playing Mario Kart, Smash, and Legend of Zelda so far. I still need to play Star Fox, Metroid, and F-Zero, naturally.

Awesome. It's always nice to discover something that you enjoy.

Also, smash is an excellent discovery tool for Nintendo games. Definitely look into each fighter's origins.

The music from every Drakengard game other than Nier, which is already recognized for have a fantastic OST. It's the only series other than Halo that has been able to effectively use established tracks to fit the tone of their respective games, in my opinion anyway.

Growing Wings, my favourite in the series, has four fucking versions of the same song, and I love each of them equally for what they represent.

Armored Core also has some particularly fantastic tracks, overshadowed by pretty much everything else the game has to offer.

Yeah, F-Zero's soundtrack is pretty well-renowned--amongst Nintendo fans, anyway.

You could say F-Zero in general is underrated, and is in dire need of a sequel--it's been twelve years.

-Star Fox game
-Metroid game
-Kirby game
-Donkey Kong game
-Kid Icarus game
-F-Zero game

It'd be nice to see a few new sequels to these franchises.

Smash just has a way of making you REALLY want to find out who these characters are. Made me get super interested in Ness and Earthbound since I never unlocked him in 64 and heard he was in it for the longest time.
