Question because i'm not keeping up to date with this butDoes the GECK or their filter have a check for suitability for mods?I imagine it has to be done with the GECK for consoles so that you aren't adding in things like nazi stormtrooper armour (breaks my heart) but would stuff like zombie apocalypse which spawns 30 feral ghouls in every other cell be allowed or denied for console limitation?

So nothing really offensive (like nazis and nudity) are going to make it through if Bethesda is paying attention.
Meanwhile, on PS4... 4 mods, with only one being remotely interesting (Settlement Expander). One is fucking PONG, with a bugs section stated as "fix it yourself".I hope to god these improve once serious modders get onto the scene (and hopefully port over PC mods, I need dem readable dialogue options).
>mod to remove the retarded legendary gimmickyes please

I agree that legendary enemies need to go, but I hate this nitpicking every single thing about Fallout 4 shit.

Maybe because certain effects are kind of immersion breaking.
The legendary system removes the fun/ uniqueness of named weapons (Like A3-21's rifle in Fallout 3) because you get them all the time. Plus, legendaty enemies aren't fun to fight. Their regenerating health gets old quick. They should have just done separate types of ammo to give explosive/ incendiary/ AP/ hollow point bullets rather than make it luck based.

Of course they are.http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GameplayAndStorySegregationPeople latch onto every small little thing they can grasp at when trying to criticize Bethesda. The worst parts of Fallout 4 are easily the dialogue, quests, and RPG elements. The gameplay/gunplay is literally perfect.

There's nothing wrong with not liking immersion breaking weapons in a game.

They're varied, interesting, and make guns unique.

You can't do a two shot ammo type, an anti-ghoul ammo type, etc. That would be even worse, to imply a certain type of ammunition in the Fallout world knows whether it's hitting a ghoul or not.But yeah, I do wish there were more true unique weapons, though, like The Deliverer, but that's a completely different thing. Legendary effects and true unique weapons could easily coexist if Bethesda put forward the effort to add them in.

They're varied, interesting, and make guns unique. The magic shit is immersion breaking. This is Fallout, not Borderlands or Destiny. You say it's never been realistic, which in some ways is true, but up until Fallout 4 it has, for the most part, followed the rules set within the universe. Having a gun that heals you when you hit an enemy doesn't fit at all.The RNGisation of Fallout 4 is one of the worst things about the game. Rather than venturing into dungeons to find unique, rare, powerful weaponry you can simply get weapons with silly effects from farming legendary dogs or radroaches. There are few (if any) unique guns in Fallout 4, just weapons that do different types of damage. It's possible to have unique guns without adding dumb elemental effects to them. The other games managed that fine. They could have done something like the reloading bench from New Vegas and added shit like explosive ammo or high-impact ammo, or overcharging a laser rifle.
