This should have been the case with the one we already have instead of that bullshit proprietary one

Good thing I've waited this long.

So this means I can use my 360 Turtle Beach headset on the One, right?

Better late then never? Now you get to buy all new controllers! Yay!

The x1 launch was such a colossal fuck up. To their credit they've reversed most of the shitty decisions that they could, but damn that was a lot of reversing. Sucks to be Spencer and given a list of fuck ups you just have to work with for the next 5-10 years. Would have been curious to see what he would have done if Mattrick hadn't had hold of the reins.

You could just buy an adapter for less

Oh.

I don't want an adapter. Like, I feel like I'll break it if I pressed the buttons on it.

Mabye this new controller will actually be somewhat fucking ergonomic unlike the form-over-function cheap piece of shit they launched with.
what?

the only thing wrong with the controller besides the proprietary jack is the shitty bumpers

An option, yes. I appreciate it when companies give me options rather than arbitrarily deciding for me.

Yeah, if you sell a regular controller too. I've had it happen when i've totally run out of batteries and i've had to make do using a USB cable to provide power to my controller. With a play and charge kit that would be a regular occurrence for me. No thanks

Having to sit there tethered to a console or extension lead instead. There is also the reality that batteries die out, a time will come when the controller becomes unusable because of that.

So you're complaining about having a wire connected to the console that you're likely sitting in front of? Do you walk around the house (or flat LOL) whilst you play games?

USB cables are only so long, I like to be able to not sit 2cm from the TV. And ffs, it's 2015. I'm not going to settle for wired controllers, I left that behind along with 8Mb memory cards and square TVs.

Exaggeration only makes you look stupid. And USB cables can pretty much be as long as you want.
And rechargeable controllers aren't wired, dipshit. By that logic your phone and laptop are wired.

There are wired controllers with a 9ft cable and you can get a USB extender that's long as well. You can get a total of around 13-15ft.

For your memory card thing how can you leave that behind when you never used it? Unless you had a PS2 recently there would be now way you were using a PS1. If you are 14 or 15 that would mean you would have been born in either 2000 or 2001. By the time you are old enough to game the 360 would have been already out and memory cards would already be gone. Like I said unless you had a PS2 to game with before you got an Xbox you did not use memory cards.
