I know, I remember shooting people 10 times and then they finally die with the Scorpion in heavies.

Despite the god awful netcode I still had fun.

the netcode resulted in as many hilarious coincidences as it did bullshit happenstances. i always loved when random bad sniper rifle shots would ricochet at impossible angles and smack some poor guy in the head halfway across the map

the DMR ruined it, unfortunately. bloom was horribly implemented and ZBNS did not work as well for BTB as it did with 4v4. Reach actually has the worst BTB out of all the games except H1

And the bloom, paper vehicles, armor lock, shitty maps, Banshee, Sniper Rifle, DMR, and spawns also made the game superior.

I saved a lot of films of the netcode screwing me over. At the time I was pissed, but I would go back and watch those films and just laugh.

I remember one time during a game on Sandtrap Heavies, I took a Gauss Hog to the giant sand dune hill and parked it there. I hopped on the turret and I was sniping people with the turret all the way from across the map. I got a Killing Frenzy before I got lasered.

How? It already is a cluster fuck due to map sizes. The current map sizes hinders vehicle play and almost half your team is in one vehicle. If you really want your limited BTB then 343 simply could have a playlist for 8V8.
