For myself if it's not I'm not going to bother with it. Even 24 players I won't because to me that's not much of a jump from 16. Unless the campaign has levels that has a lot of replay value I'm only going to do it once. For the MP I lost all interest in the small time shit. It's big Team where I actually have fun in Halo's MP now. The problem I see with Halo's BTB is that the maps are way too small for it due to the player count. With a larger player count that would mean bigger maps and more room for the vehicles. The scorpion's range is far greater than the map area. The ghosts and warthog covers ground way too fast. For the aerial the maps are too small for them. Look at Star Wars Battlefront with the fighters. A lot of the maps that have them don't support them due to their size. Withing seconds you get to the edge of the map and you can hardly do any strikes on ground units with them. It's the same with Halo. You cover too much ground with them and the size of the maps makes them feel cluttered. For Halo 2 and 3 due to the player count you have a vehicle where half of your team can be in it. In Halo CE you can have 5 players on a single vehicle. It's almost the same with the Warthog because it seats 3 players. The other thing about a larger player count is that more vehicle types can be in it.

The other thing is Star Wars Battlefront. That's coming out this year and it's going to have 64 players. I don't see myself and others going to Halo's BTB when it's only 16 players. I would be going from a large scale game that has a lot of content to it to a small vehicle based gamemode from 2001. That's not going to be fun at all.

I'll be getting it even if it's not 32 players, because I don't buy Halo for that. There's other games for that, like SWBF.
 
If people are in the mood for playing an arena shooter, they'll play Halo. If they're in the mood for big team MP, they'll play SWBF/Battlefield. If they're in the mood for a fast paced twitch shooter, they'll play CoD.
Different games for different experiences.

Plus I mainly buy Halo for the campaign. MP is an afterthought for me.

I never cared for Multiplayer unless it's coop.

My internet is too bad to care even slightly about multiplayer, I have accepted this haha

Yeah. I've never been focused on multiplayer as much as the campaign.

32 players or not, I'll get it.

halo's best gamemode is 4v4 capture the flag.

If I planned on ever getting it in the first place, having less than 32 players wouldn't affect it.
