The Wii was ok until I relaized I'm paying full price on games with less content than its competition.
And yet Nintendo, despite all these "retarded" moves, are still pushing enough sales to be competitive, and pushing 1080p/60FPS on all their big games on the console. They KILLED it with the Wii, out selling every other console on the market by a good 30 million or so. They've also got the mobile gaming market eating out of their hand. They're doing what they love to do rather than be competitive because they know that third party games aren't the reason you get a nintendo console, and that they have the money to keep doing what they do for a long time.
I can buy a playstation or an xbox for my big budget hardcore games and multipats. People buy Nintendo consoles for their exclusives and unique experiences. Last thing I would want is for Ninty to copy and paste the other two.

They have their market and they run the show when it comes to handhelds.
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
The reason they're missing out on most multipats is because they didn't go x86.

when it comes to leaving something for history to remember, they have nothing on Sony or Microsoft.
but when it comes to leaving something for history to remember, they have nothing on Sony or Microsoft.

Nintendo is a god damn icon, and their characters are known worldwide and BEYOND the gaming industry. Mario is a household name, and Pokemon is known by all, in what world is generic space soldier #19937 and Laura Croft clone #48 more memorable than a nintendo icon?

Two franchises that have been milked into an oblivion. They make Call of Duty: Advance Warfare look like the new boys in town again. All those titles you mention are junk man. They've been used and abused and practically forgotten.

Have they created any new iconic characters in the past four years? Or are they still waiving their Kirby dicks and using characters that are 10+ years old in new games?

Literally no zombies and 1 less mission. Why should I pay extra for less?
