No, I understand your point. I'll use the most supposedly detached example out there. My truck blowing a tire. Your reason for everything coming back to sexuality is rooted in phantom jumps and work arounds.

It may convince more people to be vocal about it. If more people are vocal about it, something good will get done.

It's not a perfect solution but it's better than taking things as they are and doing nothing. If you have a more effective alternative I'll gladly make use of it.
