As for the second point, it's literally just a fact. It really doesn't matter if consoles were used first because we're not talking about Pong and Asteroids, now are we? Fact is that games like Halo, Bloodborne, Gears of War, and so on would be easily made for and ported to PC, but the gaming companies do not do so to raise the sales of their gaming consoles. As I said before, Halo didn't become exclusive until the release of the 360. Halo 3 was restricted to the Xbox, whereas 1 and 2 were available on PC as well.
