Not that you should only play characters because they're strong, but I mean, Mega Man and Mewtwo are very difficult to use and are very unrewarding, in my opinion.

Dont know If I agree with that last part or not, I mean yeah at first glance it does appear to just be blatant pandering and it probably is and I'm just overthinking things, but, I like to think that the skintight   outfit somthing that makes sense for the design of the power suit, the idea being not to obstruct it with heavy clothing or material, or something like that, like you see with the Spartans in Halo or the pilots to just about any mech.

Another thing is in the original design notes for the Zero Suit they made a point not to go overboard on the sexualisation, for example making sure not to give the suit high heels. (Thank you Sakurrai and Sakamoto for throwing that out of the window , you assholes) 

I'm probably just pulling shit out of my ass here but I like to at least try to see things less negatively, or at least give people the benefit of the doubt.

You're asking the wrong question. Just choose whomever you want to play as. Even if you decide not to main a character, at least get reasonably good with them so you understand them--that will make fighting that character easier. Asking other people is not the right way to get good at this game.

But to answer your question, Zero Suit Samus is the best out of that selection.

I hope you're not giving up on Samus based on the fact that she's currently regarded as the worst character in the game.

If/when their hitboxes get fixed in a future patch, they'll be pretty decent, I imagine. They're just busted right now.

I wish they would just give Samus and Mewtwo brand new movesets.

The thing with Mewtwo is that literally all it needs is more comboability and to be heavier. That's it.

Samus needs more killpower.
