Unless the Empire is going to repeal the ban on Talos and re-engage the dominion within about two decades, the Stormcloaks are the better option. What really matters is that Talos is protected. Talos is reinforcing the Wheel and helping to hold the Mundus together right now. Talos is more important than the survival of some empire that only follows in the footsteps of the one that was metaphysically relevant.
>mfw ulfric was brainwashed by elves>mfw ulfric doing what elves wantFOR THE EMPIRE!

The Dominion wanted there to be a civil war in order to weaken the Empire, and Skyrim
And hammerfell's all like, "Nigga please, we can hold off the Aldmeri by ourselves."On topic, both are pretty shitty. But Ulfric is a puppet to the Aldmeri. His entire job is to destabilize things in skyrim. The empire is just biding it's time and sharpening its daggers until it can go for round two, and the Aldmeri knows this. If they lose Skyrim they'll be shit out of luck.

Why do so many people think this? He may be indirectly supporting them, but he by no means actually works for them. I'd rather have a weak Skyrim at least attempt to fight the elves than a unified Empire roll over and let the Thalmor essentially annex Cyrodiil.

LOL ULFRIC'S DONE SOME GOOD WORK FOR US IN THE PAST. HE'S DOING A SWELL JOB OF FUCKING THINGS UP AND PLAYING RIGHT INTO OUR PLANS.
Nobody because it's a game.
>plebs actually supporting the windclucks
The EmpireKing Torygg would've most certainly entertained the idea of Skyrim independence, but Ulfric jumped the gun and killed the High King because he wanted to be the king of Skyrim. Not to mention that he's a racist.
Quote from: BrenMan 94 on September 19, 2014, 03:30:58 AM-snip-Torygg never actually expressed any action to secede, though. And yeah, Ulfric's not perfect. But this is beyond him. Stormcloaks aren't fighting for Ulfric, they're fighting for Skyrim.
