For my PC I just use some generic $30 ones, since I just use my laptop's mic >.>

For my PS4 though I use this $160 headset I got for free with the console!

ive only ever been a turtle beach guy. got a pair of X11s in 2011, broke them in 2012 (reach made me very angry) and got a pair of X12s that i used until a month or so ago when a friend sent me his old pair of X12s.

The ones that come with the system. Unless you have them for PC I don't see the point of having them for consoles just so you can hear things better. With PC's you can use them instead of speakers which to me is easier but for consoles the TV is good enough for sound. I just don't see the point of having them for consoles.

I use Sennheiser HD 419s, and if I ever want to use a mic I have a miniature earpieces that goes under them and the mic pokes out.

Superior audio quality is def worth the makeshift comms.

I've got a pair and they're pretty sick, but I prefer the PX5s if I'm going to use a gaming set.

The X12s just feel too big for my skull.

A good headset gives you an advantage in a lot of games.

I always rekt in H4 swat because my headset was good enough to be a decently effective replacement for the radar.

I could hear people coming up on my spot from halfway across the map and knew where people were regardless of whether or not I had seen them yet.

In other games it just increases immersion.
