Beat 'em ups. Hey, let's take every little thing that actually makes a fighting game fun, remove ALL of it, and replace it with mindless, repetitive, and monotonous gameplay! Same applies to hack-n-slash.

Horror. There's a wide spectrum of negative emotions that I'll permit myself to feel when I want to play a video game or watch a movie. Fear is not one of them. Fear may just be the most viscerally unpleasant emotion ever, and I don't care to ever experience it.

Text, visual novel, and interactive movie. These barely qualify as games to me, and I find them all excruciatingly boring.

Anything massively-multiplayer--especially if you have to pay a monthly fee just to play the fucking thing.

Simulation/tycoon games. Boring, unfun, colossal wastes of time.

RTS. Boring. Boring. BORING. BORING. BORING. BORING. BORING. I wanna die.

Racing. I don't really have anything against them--I just really, really suck at them, and I don't really get much enjoyment out of them, either. Plus, they piss me off. Just don't really care for them.

And, of course, sports. Complete joke of a genre. Shouldn't exist. You're dumb if you play them.

-That kind of third person melee combat you get in games like Dragon Age and Witcher. Not my thing.
-JRPGs of any kind
-Platformers
-Almost anything produced by Capcom, Konami, Nintendo and the other big Japanese developers.
-Horror stuff. Alien is my one exception here because I love Alien.
-Mobile games
-Card Games
-"Hero Shooters" - stuff like TF2, Overwatch, Battleborn etc.
-Spunkgargleweewee Shooters (The Zero Punctuation term). Sans Battlefield, I have little interest in military shooters like CoD, Medal of Honour and so forth.

I've kinda stopped playing FPS games for whatever reason, and I generally avoid horror games. Dead Space is basically the only one I remember playing.
