I would expect a reboot more to be honest. A new KoTor would canonise KoTor1/2 and TOR, which contradicts current canon. The new story team wouldn't allow that.

How would Kotor 1&2 contradict current canon?

I'm not opposed to Republic Commando 2, or something else. But I would LOVE a new installment in the Jedi Knight series.

Ew. I'd rather they just build a new combat system or go off Force Unleashed's lightsaber mechanics ( with limb loss of course). I enjoy Jedi Knight as much as the next guy, but that gameplay just feels dated as fuck.

You'd prefer Force Unleashed's button combos? Not my preference.
The Jedi Knight series had my favorite lightsaber combat.

Speaking of which, I always found it a bit... disorienting when Han says in ESB "I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL!" It just seems so out of place...
